Other Reddit is my TikTok and it’s bad
We all hear about how addicted people are to TikTok nowadays. Well, Reddit is my TikTok.
I catch myself opening this app every 5 minutes like something important happened. Half the time I’m just reading random posts and comments.

Discussion Am I the only person not psyched at all about the Glee reboot?
Between the reports of how bad it was on set for anyone who wasn't Lea Michele, or the deaths, or the suicide over CP, and not to mention that the show wasn't as progressive as it wanted to be, I really would just love for this show to fade into obscurity.
Though I will watch anything with Jane Lynch in it in a heartbeat.

Discussion Guess the year of the yearbook!
Two different yearbooks, both from the same year. First four photos are from a school in Glendale, AZ. Last four photos are from a school in Martinsville, IN. I know this might lean more toward older millennials but still fun.
I'll share the answer later!
Edit: ANSWER IS 1997!

Nostalgia Small Midwestern punk, hardcore, emo shows
You could go to a punk or emo show pretty much any Friday or Saturday night. The venues were small, usually coffee shops, bowling alleys, church basements, or just about anywhere that would let a band come in and play.
It was such a fun time. Hanging out with friends, listening to music, moshing, and skateboarding in the parking lot. Sure, a lot of the bands were terrible, but honestly, it didn’t even matter.
I played drums back then, and it was awesome being young and actually having places to play music.
Looking back, I think a big reason this scene even existed was because of the Gen Xers who stuck their necks out and gave us places to play. The people who opened up their businesses, basements, and other spaces to a bunch of teenagers who just wanted to make music and have fun. They probably had no idea how much those experiences would mean to us years later.
Anyone else remember those days? Circa 1995–2005 was such a great time for that sort of thing. Thought it would never end!

Discussion Back in the day it used to be really cool to be smart and knowledgeable about random things and you could debate with confidence knowing you weren't going to get fact checked on the spot
Now a days everyone knows a little bit about everything but also not that much about any one thing. Hard to even have interesting conversations unless it's related to pop culture or personal relationships.
Just thinking

Discussion DAE get anxiety at a certain spot on their daily route?
Obviously we all wake up in different moods, whether you're feeling good, bad, etc. But for some reason even if I'm in a decent mood, right around this one certain spot on my daily drive, I get taken over by a sense of anxiety. It passes thankfully soon after, but just curious if I'm alone on that.

Discussion Is looking younger that harmful
I'm just curious, everytime I see a post on this subreddit about someone saying "they look 20s something" but they are 40.
There is a mass of people who say "people who think they look younger are delusional" or something similar.
Like is looking "younger" a truly bad thing compared to the rest of the shit we have in the world?
If someone actually feels good with their age, and feeling good means "they feel/looking younger" do we really need to call them delusional or just cringe?
Edit: I appreciate the responses, overall it seems just be other people think it's cringe when millineals think they look young. But, it is not harmful.
Some people could also be jealous of others looks.

Discussion I haven't been on a proper night out since 2012
I'm turning 40 next month it dawned on me that I have not been on a proper night out since 2012! Aside from a couple of family weddings a decade ago, I have not been on a night out in so long, it actually got me wondering what is it like now? There is a reason for this, I have had pretty serious health issues and over time it just became my life which I accepted but hopefully that will change!. From about 16 to 25 I was out all the time when i was at college, university and travelling and I feel so lucky that I have the best memories of so many brilliant and funny nights out. I keep seeing those Instagram millennial reels that liken our youth to The Hangover film and I'd say that's pretty accurate! I'm from the UK but from what I have seen our collective experience was pretty universal.
I so miss the 90s and early 00s, they felt so free and fun, just listening to music from that time just brings back so many amazing memories.
So I have to ask what are nights out, like now? From what I have seen I feel really sorry for Gen Z it looks pretty crap and also very expensive.
I would love to hear your experiences and thoughts :) ...
