Who needs a man when you got spreadsheets?

I wish I remembered where I heard it the other day, but I heard someone say XL Spread Cheeks and now I can't unheard it and need a new career.

I don't remember entirely either but it was a gamer tag. I remember reading it.

It’s still a mystery to me how that even happened??!? Who was in charge? And what went through their head? Why did no one catch it before releasing the video 😅

The dramatic closing of the phone is the only reason I might buy a foldable phone. I just want to hang up on people like I used to.

Nothing beats the feeling of hanging up on someone just by closing your flipphone

Work morale would be so much better if we had these at my office job. Instead we all have headsets and all we can do is this

I've heard that the folding phones fail frequently, just an FYI.

I don’t think that we realized how fast everyone would go from 27 inch CRT to 40 inch HD.

That casual drop to the floor, though. Ain’t nobody doing that with their $2k iPhone duo 😂

I remember a friend back in the days with the legendary Nokia. When she got frustrated she literally threw her phone against the wall. With full force. And it didn’t even get a scratch.

u/Tatidanidean1 5h ago

That’s the real reason she threw the phone out the window. It pissed her all the way off

There’s a fun interview with her where they started it with a joke about her being the only person to send a text via Excel. She was a good sport about it but OOF how did nobody else notice

They probably thought everybody would be distracted by her, which to be fair almost worked on me.

She isnt the only person though. People use office apps to message each other as a way to hide it from their partner. Since you can create a document or spreadsheet and share it with someone, and it lets you type real-time changes back and forth.

Now yes sure, but this was in 2002. I don't think real time synchronization was a thing on Nokia flip phones back then.

I'm aware. Just pointing out 'only person' is no longer true.

no matter what I do

all I think about is you

even when I’m with my boo

I had a friend who thought the last line was “even when I lick my boob” and when he said it, the person driving laughed so hard he almost drove off the road.

I have no idea what we're talking about.

She had this Nokia phone that was like a mini computer and she was very mad that Nelly had apparently ghosted her but in fact she was texting in excel 😂 it’s core 90s music

5

u/One-Net3018 5h ago

2002, we're not that old yet.

4

u/Poethegardencrow 4h ago

Ah yea true I remember going to school with a bandaid on my face like Nelly 😂

3

u/One-Net3018 4h ago

Same here, teachers were not amused lol.

This to me is like the most quintessential millennial moment and I can’t explain why but I feel it in my bones

I'm guessing this is more of a Gen X post than Millennial post.

Older Millennials will get it
