Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and units of those who were lost, with the injured and their loved ones, and with the people of Wainwright. We also thank the firefighters, paramedics, medical staff, and community members who responded under extremely difficult conditions. Soldiers, sailors, and aviators from the Canadian Armed Forces come from across Canada to serve and train at CFB Wainwright and at bases across Canada. This tragedy touches every corner of Canada; please keep our service members in your thoughts
