Im doing the canadian cancer foundations November knitting challenge.

Im doing this because ive lost so many people already to cancer. My great grandmother to ovarian cancer was first, then my grandmother has has colon cancer, twice. Now my mum and I are both getting screened annually for colon cancer much younger than most would.

We also lost my mother in law before I even met her. She was only in her 50s, much too young.

So every day in November I will be knitting this sweater, and if I finish it ill be starting another jersey sweater.

Sure we [the Calgary Flames] got blown out a few days ago in Vegas against traitor Carter Hart and the Vegas Golden Knights.

We have an unofficial meetup per my original feeler post, coming up this weekend. Here's all the details:

This meetup is to welcome our one and only u/callmeghost666 and his wonderful partner u/haleshx to our beautiful city, as they have travelled a long ways to experience the city and attend a farewell season game.

This meetup will not have any raffles, as I could not whip up a license and obtain prizes/tickets in time. However, if you are feeling generous, you can always donate to KidSport at any time <3 They also accept used sports equipment!

Hey yall. I know it's gonna be an up and down year this season for the Flames but I really wanted to say how impressed I have been with Whitecloud. He's been playing pretty decently all things considered, and i really think he's going to be a huge leader on this team moving forward.

I think the above image really shows how good he is; of course Middleton breaks up the incoming pass from the blue line, but Whitecloud recognized the potential for a turn here and immediately put the brakes on to be a disruptor on Carolina's 22 who is the target of the incoming pass. Super heads up play that won't get talked about nearly enough but I would love to spread some appreciation about someone doing the quiet, little things.

Flag kid got bodied during warm ups and the Flames easily played their best game of the season. Obviously, this must now become a Flames home game tradition…

The Calgary Flames pick up two wins in three games, including an impressive victory over the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes. Dan and Matt break down the week, Devin Cooley’s outstanding performance, and whether the Flames have a genuine 1A/1B goaltending situation developing with Cooley and Dustin Wolf.
