Video by Ottawa Police pleading for any information on the driver responsible for the hit-and-run killing of a young woman earlier this month.

Vehicle involved was a dark coloured Ford Escape SUV which likely sustained damage to the front passenger side, the fog/rain light specifically.

Another vehicle of interest is a red pickup truck which may have witnessed the incident.

Please if there is anything you can do to help identify the person who killed this beautiful young woman and bring them to justice, please contact OPS. She and all the loved ones she leaves behind deserve justice and to know whoever is responsible will be held accountable.

On a previous post, it was suggested that I do an AMA here at some point...or rather an Ask You Anything (to make sure my answers are in the form of a question 😄)

Feel free to ask about the process of getting on the show, how it all goes down in studio, how I prepared, what comes next, etc.

BTW, I will am planning on attending World Trivia Night (next Friday at the Rogers Centre)...just created a team and may be in need of some recruits, so may be doing some scouting during this ;)

Sutcliffe is so disingenuous. Lawson is surprisingly a good speaker, but I don't support his policies or his previous convoy support.

I tried to find info on this but came up with nothing. The 5 car entourage had an escort of roughly 12 police motorcycles closing off every road as this drove past.

Looking for... Donation Advice

I have a few garbage bags of old clothes, kitchenware, DVDs, books, etc and would like to give them away

I'm not a fan of Salvation Army or Value Village for different reasons. Can anyone point me towards somewhere I can donate all of this stuff?

I live in Findlay Creek but I'm okay to drive wherever.

Help me finish my cookbook (and get some homemade treats)!

Hi everyone, I’m currently trying to finalize writing a cookbook, but my husband and I can only eat so much while I’m recipe testing!

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing small weekly boxes of homemade treats for their families? It would be a way for me to use up what I’m making while working towards getting this cookbook finished, and you’d get some homemade goodies out of it, too!

The boxes would include things like muffins, cookies, fresh loaves of bread, squares, brownies, and the bazillion other things I have to make. I could send out a list via email for what each box would contain the week before and people could choose to opt in or out. It would be for pick-up only an as a heads up I am located in the Pineview area. I’ll do my best to price everything at just the cost of ingredients to keep it affordable (but of course will include a box price in the email).

Just curious if this is something people might be interested in before I spend too much more time thinking about this.

So much broken glass on Centretown roads…

I was biking yesterday afternoon and saw at least 10 different piles of glass on various Centretown roads. I’m guessing from car windows being broken?

I can’t believe I don’t have at least one flat tire. Did I miss something here or have there been way more car breaks lately, or something?

A couple in our mid-to-late 20s, not big into clubbing and not interested in Saunders Farm this year. Anything going on next Saturday, October 31st? Preferably not with lots of kids around?
