Assuming this works the same as Classic, you can create a macro to script open the NPC dialogue, and accept. Every button push does all you need.

Then you just use your keyboard macro or AHK to press that one key repeatedly. Or you get one of those Darkman birds to manually press it with style.

With Dialogue UI this is a pretty easy thing to do without a macro. Interact key, space, space, repeat. Interact to open, space to finish the first dialogue, space to complete the quest.

Unironically if you had everyone leveling up by turning in apples the game would be vastly more social than it is now.

Runescape is incredibly social because you will have people standing in the same spot doing the same task as each other for dozens of hours.

Though in runescape a lot of players usually have "Home Worlds" Which are servers they usually choose to play on or if no there are also servers for specific skills so you will see the same people for extended periods of time.

Both. I don't know about duos but it looks like Ahmpy is going for 5-man and then there's a bunch of solo people, mostly hunters. It will be interesting to see what tech people find because the biggest tech recently on leveling was non-mages (particularly hunters) leveling in ZF all through the 40s, but I doubt that's viable anymore with the dungeon mob XP nerfs.

I did 1 to 5 last night just to test how questing vs killing mobs went. Since the quest mobs will be fully camped at launch. 

33 minutes questing (no competition)

38 minutes just killing mobs. I also went  straight to level 3 enemies since I assumed the level 1-2 mobs are the initial quest mobs and they’d be getting tagged immediately. 

Anyway 1-10 for me seems like it might be closer to 2 hours.

every starting zone will be packed at launch. they want you to experience the hype of a massive crowd at launch since it's one of the things people talk about fondly.

my personal experience on day 1 of the beta was that aside from the login issues, the gnome starting area was packed but totally playable.

just know when to skip a quest, don't wait around trying to click doodads faster than 6 other people, just go next and you'll be fine.

I will say that I switched to skyborne and suddenly it was way less crowded. Can't say if that'll be true on launch but I have a feeling it will be.

A ton of people will want to try forever with their existing sub and I would guess most of those people won't have bought skyborne yet.

Level 20? Bro on day one that might be me! In classic 2019 launch, I was about about level 18 after 6 or 7 hours and capped it off with a DM run. I was pretty sweat, but I saw much crazier than that. There were people level 45 after a day.

Yeah they've slowed some of that down a bit now, but I think you're vastly underestimating speed runners. I think the first 60 will be there within the first week easily, and probably within the first 4 days.

Apples sell for 5c a piece (25c for 5, so 20c per turn in) and the vendor price of a Thunder Applejack (1 per turn in) is 12c, so you only lose 8c per turn in.

Xp also appears to scale up by 10 with each level, if this continues linearly as it seems to then by level 30 you're getting 260xp per 8 copper and by 54 you're getting 500xp per 8 copper. Given that the vast majority of your leveling journey takes place past level 40 lets say the average rate will be like 400 xp, so the total net cost will be a bit over 80000 copper (10000 turn ins @ 400 xp avg) aka 8 gold, I couldn't be bothered to double check this so could be wrong but it's definitely nowhere near 250g required.
