Law&CrimeTea ⚖️ Multiple Reports of Voting Machines Flipping Votes to Republican Candidates Automatically
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This isn’t just happening in Tennessee. There are reports of voters in other states experiencing touchscreen voting machines changing their selections from Democratic to Republican candidates.
Please check, double-check, and TRIPLE-CHECK your ballot before submitting it. Make sure every vote reflects your choice. If something looks wrong, alert a poll worker before casting your ballot.

They'll just send fake ones. Or break into ballot drop boxes. Or break into post office trucks
I've seen photo evidence of all three. Who's to even say they count them? This has been an issue since 2000.
35
u/grovesancho 3h ago
I don't know about your county but my county let's me check and verify that my votes are tallied towards the candidates I voted for.

Mine does too.

u/bmfrosty 3h ago
Is there a process to dispute?
→ More replies (1)7
u/Xanthelei 2h ago
There is for mine, as well as a process to declare someone voted under your name and have that thrown out and replaced with your ballot. Iirc it's similar to the process for "curing" a ballot, it requires you go in person to the voting office. At that point your identity is verified and you follow the steps they lay out to handle whatever issue you were having.

I'm in PA. We aren't even set up to vote early in person. I've always voted in person because I've seen the post people. I would not trust them.
But apparently our results via electric voting is not open to public records.
It looks like I can track that it made it there. But I can't tell much more than that. There might be more info but it doesn't look like it from what I'm seeing.
Then again, I only moved to this county in last year. They still have paper ballots in person, with some having electric. I'm probably electric, if only because I'm in a city. Maybe. I'll see on the third.

u/SupineDora 2h ago
They’ve been stealing mail in ballots. Trump and his gang are determined to twist the will of Americans
6
→ More replies (3)13
u/whichwitch9 2h ago
This is why many Democrats have been pushing early voting. In most states, it functions as mail in, but the ballots are secured by election officials instead of mail. It leaves them less vulnerable and leaves a paper trail
25
u/Fantastic_Jury5977 3h ago
There's been evidence of manipulation since 2012. 2020 and 2024 had the most.

Its also possible the company or one of its workers are aligned with MAGAs goals. Dominion Voting Systems was bought out by a former Republican election official.
Election Systems & Software apparently has a history of funding Republican causes.
Not a sign of corruption, but IMO voting machine companies shouldnt be private entities with a history aligned to a specific party. It should be either a public entity with broad public ownership, a non profit or an inhouse government run solution with publically audited designs.

I remember hearing these reports of votes being flipped since at least the 2004 election though.
It's not just the Trump Regime.
But it was always flipping in favor of Republicans.
83
u/Crowiswatching 2h ago
They always accuse of what they are doing. One reason Trump fought so hard against mail in ballots.
7
u/ineedascreenname 48m ago
The “genius” of convincing his supporters that 2020 was stolen is that it muddied the waters so actual election interference will sound absurd. Destroy faith in the process then break the process…

Republicans are paranoid about voter fraud yet they’re the ones committing the fraud.
41
10
u/unicornkiss 45m ago
They aren't actually paranoid, they are causing a diversion so that when they do the exact things they say democrats are doing, their voters wouldn't suspect a thing. The republican party is full of hypocritical thinking (e.g. "smaller government" but at the same time everything they legislate is about taking choice and freedom away from citizens; "fiscal responsibility," but running the national debt up into the trillions and starting wars that cause economic instability).
The problem is their base deeply sees their political party affiliation as their primary identity, so none of those things matter. The only thing that matters is that their team is winning. In the end, when they lose just like the rest of us, they won't be able to accept the reality that they voted for it. It'll still be Clinton/Obama/Biden's fault, because their cognitive dissonance is so deeply and fundamentally embedded in their brains it impedes their intellectual processing.

The difference is that voter fraud is almost non-existence.
This is Election Fraud. Big difference. Why try to sneak people in hundreds of times to vote extra times when you can just buy an electronic voting machine company and corrupt it like has been done with Dominion (now Liberty Vote) and ES&S??

Dominion definitely has issues but I believe this was a strategic plan to have everyone looking at Dominion instead of the biggest and more corrupt voting machine company, ES&S, which fraudulently claimed and certified machines that were supposed to be air gapped but we're found to have internal wireless cellular modems in Tabulators that can and do connect to the Internet.
The Fox defamation lawsuit was also the biggest settlement in history for defamation by a large margin at $787 million which could also have been a legal bribe to Dominion because all those companies are owned by right wing billionaires

I don't understand the country's obsession with voting machines and gadgets of this sort. And this goes way back before the modern cyber/electronic era. Remember the punches and chads that led to Bush, and the Rube Goldberg contraptions full of levers and gears that preceded them?
Name one successful democracy that uses these opaque machines. People point to the complexity of the American ballot. But even the Swiss, originators of direct democracy and no strangers to endless propositions and measures, still use paper ballots manually counted by hand.
I'll tolerate OCR scanners and such, as they're merely counting aids that can be easily audited, and bypassed if necessary. But any computer screen, touch screen, or device where the voter signals their intention other than by marking it on a piece of paper should not even be contemplated.

Unfortunately, in Indiana many counties are using the same type of voting as TN. I am in a county that uses the paper ballots you can review and then feed into the machine at the end (ES&S Express Vote) voting. Interesting fact. My county is predominately democrat. Two things to take from this: they are testing in hard Red states because they know they will face no consequences. And they are legitimately scared of losing small elections even in red states because they know how unpopular they are right now.

u/7818 2h ago
Tennessee swapped to Diebold/Premier Election Solutions machines during Bush, ~2006 in larger counties and rolled out to smaller counties afterwards. Starting in 2010, though, Republicans have controlled all branches of government.
I'm sure the timing is completely unrelated and isn't at all related to heavy donations from their current owners executives to Republicans.

there are 2 possiblities here.
- the accusation is true and there is clear cut fraud
- the story is made up in an attempt to manipulate voters
regardless of which one it is, this needs to be investigated as there is clear vote fraud/manipulation going on, proof needs to be gathered as to what it exactly is.

Exactly - that is the problem. Asking people on the edge (I'm not in this group myself) to go out on a limb where they can lose their job is a lot. If people knew that is the only way out of certain and complete destruction, that would be one thing - but that kind of certainty is impossible to convince everyone to have (even if it were true).
We better have a backup plan to the general strike idea. Maybe a couple.

I'd argue its an option but hardly realistic... we're such a cowed and compliant population. We'd need to get 3-4% plus of the total population to strike to move the needle. Worth doing but so hard to organize and get that to happen in a country of 350 million plus.
12 million plus workers acting in a unified manner? Where and how do we achieve that? It's an option sure...

6

Because if you change someone's votes after the fact, that's like massively massively illegal. If you flip them on screen in hopes that they hit "confirm" without noticing, you can claim that that was their intended vote because they confirmed their ballot.

u/Gulp-then-purge 1h ago
Nothing happens. Democracy has by and large died in the US. This may be the first election truly stolen although I am sure shenanigans happened in the past. But it is very clear Trump controls all the important aspects and nobody is willing to stop him. Democrats warned that the past presidential election was the most important in the history of our country then proceeded to run Biden then jam Harris in when he had a meltdown on live TV.
3
u/Ethanop1a 1h ago
Saw someone explain this in another post that made a lot of sense.
Any vote tampering would be done this way to offload the blame and add plausible deniability.
If you change it before the eyes of the voter, "it is just a touch screen glitch that YOU should have noticed."
If you change it after submission, people start asking more questions and looking much deeper than a touchscreen pre-submission issue.

Voting in person is generally very susceptible for things like this. What we need is an anonymous ballot delivered to every person, a receipt generated for that vote, then the vote to be publicly viewable and archivable online before certification. Anyone should be able to challange an election vote with the receipt and enough challenges should result in a re-election before certification. Whenever you mail your ballot in, do it online, etc it should be viewable online.
No it’s not better with paper, it’s just more hidden. The largest election fraud in U.S. history was under a paper ballot system.

You can't make a cast ballot reviewable because then you've opened the system to vote coercion.
Imagine your spouse, boss, landlord, insurance company, local crime syndicate, etc. demanding to see how you voted or face consequences. Not hypothetical, all things that have happened in reviewable vote systems.
There's a reason that once you cast your ballot, it's no longer tied to you. You can only show that you voted, not how you voted.

In Minnesota you fill out paper ballot and it gets scanned both digital record and paper are saved for recounts. Seems like a good system if there is any ffery.
3
u/ZenPokerFL 3h ago
That’s how we do it in Missouri too. Fill out the scantron form by hand, insert it into the scanner where it’s tabulated (you can see the number of ballots increase by 1 when it’s accepted), and the ballot drops into the locked scanner box where there’s a bag that’s sealed up with tape at the end of the night for delivery to the election HQ.

The goings-on of the totally-above board, not-cheating-at-all-ahh political party, the GOP, mm hm. 👌🏻
Just no cheatin in sight, they’re winning through the sheer competence of their candidates!

Don't worry, I'm sure Americans will actually do something about it THIS time....

This happened in Texas too. Republicans are doing everything they can to win. Including cheating. Which should be a federal crime. But look whos running the country, into thr ground.

If true this is insane. And the most insane part is that Americans are like: Be careful about it. In most other countries it will be a huge scandal enough reason to conduct an investigation and even cancel the election till it's fixed. This just shows how broken your system is.

They're stealing the election. I'll say it once again, make sure you and your good friends are armed.

There is no way they haven’t attempted to rig this election. Remember, every accusation is a confession, and Trump literally confessed to having Elon rig his 2024 election.

This should have been a bigger story for the last several elections.
In 2020, in Kentucky, I had the same thing happen to me. I had to reselect my picks and I'm still unconvinced it recorded my selections properly. It was like it set "default" to every Republican candidate.
