Mac OS 27 running on a Mac Pro 2013 with a dock, login screen, and cursor
Is there an app that will show all of the files that are created by an application when you install it? I have an app that is installing a license file somewhere and I'm unable to locate it.

I built DockNest: iPhone-style app folders for your Mac's Dock

Hi r/macapps, I'm the developer. DockNest is a small menu-bar app that lets you group apps into folders and open them straight from the Dock, like on iPhone and iPad. It needs macOS Sonoma or later.
It's a one-time purchase of €14.99 (no subscription), the license works on 2 Macs, and it's notarized by Apple. There's no free trial yet, so if it doesn't work for you, you can get a refund within 14 days.
Site and details: https://docknest.store
Happy to answer questions and take feature requests here.

I built a per-app volume mixer for the macOS menu bar — no virtual audio driver, no kernel extensions

Spotify is too loud, the call is too quiet, and macOS still doesn't have a per-app mixer. I wanted one that didn't install a virtual audio driver or ask for admin rights, so I built MixBar. I'm the developer.
It's a menu bar app. Open the panel and every app that's currently playing gets its own slider and mute button. At 100% MixBar removes its tap entirely, so the app goes back to its normal bit-perfect output with zero overhead.
**Install:** https://github.com/hikara192/MixBar/releases/latest — DMG, drag to Applications, no terminal.
