ANSWERED Shouldn't my karma go up at least a little?
•
Upvotes
So I'm new to reddit, created this account a few days ago and also posted my first post a week ago. I got 40 upvotes on the post and my karma is still one. I know the amount of upvotes isn't exactly the same as the amount of upvotes but I feel like I still should get at least a bit of karma from that post?
I'm using the app on Android.

I mean I’m new to Reddit and I just will probably use it for information. I just want to make sure what I’m being told is right and the people are trustworthy. Thanks!

NEEDS ATTENTION Comments are getting removed
•

I just created this account. I've joined subreddits and started commenting on posts, but it keeps getting removed because of low 100 karma points. How to go about this?

NEEDS ATTENTION How am I supposed to turn off certain notifications?
•

I've no idea if this has been asked before. I made a post earlier in r/RedditGames and my inbox got flooded with notifications. How do I turn them off for just one Subreddit? And I only want the comment notifications off. Everything else about that Sub can stay.

•

I’m trying to interact with people on different subreddits and answer questions, but I feel like no matter what I do my karma stays at 0. I have an older account and I tried making a second account for other purposes and I can’t do anything with it yet.

NEEDS ATTENTION Karma and its influence on reactions
•
Upvotes
Does karma influence the rate of reactions to your comments? I passed 1000 karma, and since reaching around 800, the engagement (upvotes and replies) on my comments has really increased. Is there a connection, or have I just unconsciously learned how to write comments that generate positive reactions?
