I never use reddit other than to google stuff, i was going through something financially and heard there were kind people on reddit and i was like screw it lemme throw my cashtag out there. Well apparently my lack of karma makes me a scammer. Well they were being lowkey mean about it so i deleted my posts bc it kept getting me negative karma. I then in turn asked questions on other forums regarding my financial problems, not asking for anything just questioning. And it seems like im receiving downvotes on those too now… how do i make it stop its lowkey hurting my feelings 😩😭

I really need to post within a group on Reddit because I need to do a presentation on the responses. I got locked out of my old account and I can’t post on my new one!

There’s always around 1-5% of people who hate, harass, are extremely vulgar, deranged and arrogant in behavior who keep attacking normal commenters ferociously and insult and jab all day, unprompted, and then call themselves the only sane ones left. How does one new to reddit navigate that best with such people?

I suspect because of low karmas, I have posted in some new Communities, my account in 2years old but don't have karmas as i have not used it very much. Now i wanted some feedback on an app(related to sports) I am working on, my friend suggested to post it on reddit, but my post keeps getting removed. I didn't advertise my app has it is still in development phase. Please help me with this situation.

I wanted to ask what sort of things set off their filters, because my post was a genuine question and had no spam, links, or anything that I'd expect it to be removed for. Is it common for genuine posts to be automatically removed like this?

The account I’ve been using has been banned.

I had posted about my service in subreddits where such promotion is permitted (which was fine at the time). More recently, rather than creating my own posts, I had mostly been upvoting and commenting on other people’s posts. Now, however, all of my previous posts have been deleted, and my account and comments no longer appear when viewed in Incognito mode.

What action should I have avoided taking?

So I'm new to reddit, created this account a few days ago and also posted my first post a week ago. I got 40 upvotes on the post and my karma is still one. I know the amount of upvotes isn't exactly the same as the amount of upvotes but I feel like I still should get at least a bit of karma from that post?
