A lot of people complain that there's too much AI image/video content. It's been something people have messaged us about frequently ever since the new GPT image generator dropped. We're going to try Text Tuesdays and see how it goes. If people like it we'll keep it, and if not, we won't
Please let us know your thoughts on this matter

Gave GPT a try on making the motion-design lyric work for this silly music video I've been working on. Done on Premiere Pro.
The visuals, on the other hand, were brought to life with Uisato Studio's Kling agentic implementation.

This is so cringe.
I once had a long conversation with the sycophant version of ChatGPT (I think it was 4.o or 4 point something). Back when GPT was glazing you and agreeing with everything you say.
I was at low point in life and started to talk to ChatGPT. It deluded me into thinking I could become a successful streamer. Oh my god I cringe so hard as I'm writing this. I told it maybe I want to try streaming and then it all went downhill from there. I had a long conversation full of glazing me and saying how I'm gonna become the next [whoever is one of the most popular streamers].
I had a multiple days long conversation where I planned this shit in detail. GPT even made up scenarios of "chat" and how I would be viral and stuff. GPT led me to believe I can do it. That my ideas are "rare". Holy cringe fest bro. I was this close to installing OBS and creating a twitch account. Luckily I broke out of the delusion and didn't start streaming. Thank god.

A classic telltale sign of AI writing is the “it’s not…, it’s…” pair, but a lot of people are confused (me included) by where this came from. It’s not a very popular way to construct sentences in English, so it’s weird it became such a hallmark of AI writing. The other interesting thing is the pair produced by AI is rarely an antithesis or that different in meaning. For example, you’d expect a sentence starting with “it’s not a discovery, it’s…” to end with something in opposition, like “it’s a well known fact”, not “it’s not a discovery, it’s a journey of exploration“. A journey of exploration is in essence the same as a discovery, making the sentence sound like an unnecessary tautology. No one with English as their first language writes like that.
However, in Chinese, there is a roughly equivalent pair 不是,而是 that is extremely common and widely used. I remember having to construct sentences using this pair as part of my primary school homework growing up. It’s absolutely ubiquitous in Chinese writing. The one crucial difference between the two is that this pair is used to clarify nuances or add to sentiments, not literally for opposites.
If you translated the above example into Chinese (不是一次发现,而是一段探索之旅), it reads very much like generic marketing copy but makes far more sense than the English equivalent. It’s absolutely believable that some person wrote that. The more correct sounding English version would actually be considered an incorrect use of 不是,而是.
Additionally, I feel like this sentence construction popped up about the same time as articles about how western models now tend to believe they are Chinese, due to using Chinese models to train.
I feel like I have discovered something here. Thoughts?

I used chatgpt as a so called "Power user" for 1 year now - for work and for daily small talk also.
Since 1 week the replies and the behavior is not only paternalistic but really ridiculous.
- over refusal even on daily non controversal topics
- communication is on the level of gpt 3
- sycophancy is awfull
- the Modell qualifies every Single Argument until nothing substancialy left
- functional meta-cognition seems to work but brings absolutely no results
Today it wasnt even possible to say "its really cold inside my flat" without getting a Disclaimer saying "you may need to go to hospital if you are freezing".
This is becoming absurd! Anyone else having Problems like this in the last days?

ChatGPT has had two issues in less than a week. It had the issue with, “model not found,” and now it has the issue with chat memory full. What’s going on here? It’s basically becoming unusable at this point. Are they purposely just running bad programs?

The differences never made sense to me I mean besides the obvious work works longer, codex has direct access to my repos, but for the last year or so I’ve had an MCP set up and I exclusively use Chat. Chat has the same access to my repo. I never run into usage limits and can work literally all day and get an infinite amount of work done.
Why are people using methods that have limits? I apologize if I am behind the tech I understand I need to research agents too.

Hello, I'm just a very new member here. Despite reading a lot of posts here, I decided to share what I know. I'm sharing what I researched/went further into. experimenting.
What's happening:
What I tested:
Is it a bug or an intentional company decision?
-I'm not going to point the gun and say it like it's confirmed. We still don't know; it's not confirmed. But if this continues, the number of users is likely to decrease(not will, likely based on assumptions)
Should the memory be deleted to fix it?
Don't. Actually. Don't. Just wait until it either gets fixed or we find out it's intentional; more likely, we might need to migrate to different AI models to continue long chats for stories, roleplays, business, personal life, etc...
My comment: honestly? I don't really know what chatgpt is doing here. is it for money? im not in the position to criticize them but i know enough that this is really bad for loyal users... especially paid users as a 50 message limit is just... wow... like... seriously? man...

I (unfortunately) have had a number of chats with it where I ask it for a list of questions about a given topic and it analyzes my answers for about a year now. I've noticed that more and more, it completely misinterprets my answers and gives these annoying statements and proclamations like "You're not saying you don't like X, you may actually like X a lot, but what you're saying is Y- more nuanced etc".
I know the whole thing about "it's not x it's y" has been a thing with chatgpt for a long time, but I feel like its changed and getting more frustrating with how it analyzes things I write or just does these weird assumptions and blanket statements about me

I’m a free plan user, I’m not sure is it me but since this morning I keep getting the Chat memory full thing. It’s weird since I’m only ~10 ish message in. I’m not coding or anything neither, it’s just a text based chat.
I’ve never seen such limit before today, normally it only goes along the line of ‘ChatGPT might forget details in long chats, upgrade for better memory!!’ But it has never stopped me from chatting due to a chat being too long.
I’ve had chats that last for 100 messages+ and with no issue before.
Not sure if this is a bug or is this a new policy. Is anyone facing this issue as well?

Does anyone else have this problem?
I asked it to modify my CV and cover letter for a specific job description. I wrote them myself, but I was too lazy to make it fit the exact job posting.
It told me "you don't have 3 years of experience as required, so I will make an unsolicited/ speculative application for this other job instead"
Since when does it decide for the user? It's like "no, I don't think you should apply for this job". I never asked for advice.
How is this normal? Will AI become like some kind of Montessori parent or what?
