Where to watch Steelers in Paris?

I saw the Harp and Fiddle is opening early, and I know Pirmantis usually does, what other sports bars are having a 9am open this Sunday?

Specifically we’ll be out on Beaver Falls so if anyone has a suggestion for there or Cranberry Township, that would be helpful. Might as well get a list going for all areas though.

Moving to SouthSide Flats looking for work. moving feb2026

Context: I was born and raised in Northern PA by Allegheny National park. Moved to NC as a teen with crazy parent. Fast foward I’m 22 now wanting to move closer to my PA family but not the damn woods. So Pittsburgh it is. Visited fell in love with south side. I have extensive experience and knowledge with Cannabis/Hemp wellness and Automotive express lane/inspection experience also play a lot of live music with band and without. Classic guitar douchebag here.ive worked at the rec Dispensary in Cherokee. Also Hempies in Raleigh nc operating through the state under farm bill 2018. Extremely corporate and professional at these dispos, I like to say it is more of a serious job we treat like medical. Do I need a med card to work at any of the Pittsburgh dispensaries? Is it worth giving up my firearm? What even are all the drawbacks to having a med card? Idrk what to research tbh.
As for auto experience I’ve spent most of it in the gutter of the oil shops. Worked at Honda for a year or so loved it. They didn’t care abt thc on the drug test. Any Honda team member or ex employee have input? Would love to get back into Honda. Is working in a bar enough to pay some bills?

Ideas needed for a night out on Saturday!

Hi, friends. Long-time Pittsburgher here. Once upon a time (i.e. before we had a kid) my husband and I spent many an evening exploring different neighborhoods, eating at various restaurants, and going to see local bands. It was great. But, you know, life changed, and now we spend more time on the couch watching Bob’s Burgers after bedtime.

BUT- on Saturday night, we find ourselves free as our son has a sleepover at the in-laws. We are super excited for an evening out but also not sure where to go. We’d love a place with light snacks and good cocktails. Maybe also a great band? Jazz?? Or, at the very least, a good selection of amaro. We will be at an event in Lawrenceville in the late afternoon so would prefer near there, but are open to suggestions! Thanks so much in advance for your help and advice.

Recommendations for autism related medical doctors, therapists, GI doctor, and more for young child

I’m considering a move back to the area. We now have a 5 year old diagnosed as ASD, 2e, anxiety with most likely ADHD and more.

How has living in either Pittsburgh (looking at Highland Park, Aspenwall, Ben Avon) or Wexford area been for you?

I am looking for recommendations for:
—developmental pediatrician
—OT (who works with age/diagnoses)
—play therapists
—dentist
—GI doctor specializing in constipation (very important)

I know that Children’s has a department so I’m not looking for a general suggestion but specific doctors you have loved and why— feel free to message me!

Also would love to know if you have found any activities like gymnastics, swimming, martial arts that are sensory friendly and small consistent groups or even individual lessons working into a group. How has your experience been with being accepted into things/the community? (I’m sorry if my formatting gets messed up, I’m trying to make this concise) Thank you for any help!

Pittsburgh apartment insulation

Pittsburgh has a lot of older housing options. For someone searching for a place here would you recommend an older building or a newer one for sound insulation between shared walls and floors?

Is sound insulation also the same as heating or cooling insulation and serves as dual purpose? I ask because of rising heating and cooling costs.

Is there a building era here that you prefer and why? Thank you for your help in making an informed choice.

What's daily average salary for multi-apping food delivery in and around Pittsburgh

Four years ago, someone asked the community how much on average does one earn daily and weekly via multi-app food delivery services (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Walmart Spark, Amazon Flex, etc.). Obviously, that was four years ago, and although wages never raise, it was still four years ago. So, my question is, what's it like now?

Open mics

I am LGBTQ and new to the area and interested in attending more comedy shows locally. Where are spots that are LGBTQ friendly?

I checked open mic pages but it seems like a lot of MAGA-toxic brand comedy here. I hope Im wrong!

Am I the only one that gets inexplicable road rage dealing with the absolute fucking shit hole that’s been 376?

It’s been bumper-to-bumper traffic for over a year now regardless of what fucking time of the day it is thanks to all this horseshit construction. I’m so fucking over it. I avoided as much as I can but sometimes I think, “oh it’s noon how bad could it be?”. Fuck me, right?

Decent mechanics for engine swap

Recent my car motor died and its cheaper to replace the motor than have the dealership fix the engine. Does anyone know any good mechanic that could swap a new motor into a GR86? Dealership told me 25k for repairs. i would like to keep it around 10k if i can

Places to sit and sketch near(ish) the South Hills?

For the last few weeks I’ve been taking a drawing course at CCAC in the evenings. I WFH and get a bit stir crazy, so getting out of the house at least once a week for a few hours and making some art was really good for my mental health.

The class is over but I’d love to find somewhere I can hang out for a couple of hours in the evening and sketch. I’m not unopposed to paying a cost of admission in the form of a coffee or similar. Obviously there’s places like Barnes & Noble but I’d love to support a local business in the process!

I live in Dormont and have access to a car but I don’t want to go too far if possible. Orbis is just down the Red Line and is open until 9:00 part of the week, so I thought they might be a good option, but few coffee shops stay open that late that I’ve found.

Any suggestions?
