" I might be bisexual, but it's a little too late" that being said with the straight face and grayscale killed me 🤣

I feel very called out

Though apparently wild shit goes down in retirement homes, so maybe there's still hope. When a job isn't sapping all my libido.

As a bisexual woman that didn’t come out until I was 27, I can tell you the queer scene is vibrant with late bloomers, it’s never too late

I like hanging out with other gay people even more than I like dating them so there’s that

Married to a boring dude, maybe. I prescribe the Dan Savage podcast to all late blooming, married bisexuals. Stat!

Must be nice to have the energy and time to explore a "scene"

god damn that’s a terrible view of sexuality

It's realistic. A lot of us are out here working two jobs, all the chores, school and work, long ass work, all the chores, sometimes kids. Exploring things takes TIME that we do not have or energy something else saps.

‘Scene’ does kind of sound like I’m hitting up clubs after work but that’s not really my ‘scene’. My access to queer spaces only opened up after I met other queers in grad school (during covid even) and later exploring book club meetups.

Meeting new people let alone making new friends after your twenties is really fucking hard. I go through phases of efforts only at my therapist’s insistence. It is work but I’ve had to learn the hard way that cultivating relationships, not necessarily romantic or sexual, are really essential to my overall health.

Work can be really draining. I remember the first few months of full time employment, I was disgusted with how much daylight I never got to see and how quickly I was getting out of shape. Your time is more valuable than you think.

I understand every part of this. Ignore the douche response from the other person.

Unironically...get some help.

This is not a healthy attitude to have.
