Is being a man in this world today and loneliness a synonym?

Losing friends
So i have some friends and we played Magic the Gathering for a couple of years. We used to meet on the weekends and play for whole day and smoke some pot. As time passed i become a father and my priorities in life changed. I stoped smoking and stoped playing Mtg all day. Eventually I sold my collection and the first people I contacted where those friends...their reactions was something like this : "oh so you came to say your not gonna play mtg with us anymore? Thats okay, oh and say hi to the guy who you sold the collection."
I didnt want to sell the collection to my friends because i wanted to make as much money as i can on in and selling it at the high price to my friends seemed wrong, i didnt want to sell to scalpes so i found someone who didnt have any Mtg cards and sold them all of mine.
Since then my friends are not calling me, or texting me, I left 2 messages in Wapp group we had and had no answer for couple of days.
Mind one of those friends i have know for all of my life.
Since i changed (i started to dig tracks for downhill and ride downhill in my spare time and i have the greatest time of my life, i meet new people, spend time in nature etc) I have a strange feelling that they are avoiding me...
Bassically I know why, i dont smoke any more and im not willing to spend money on Mtg or to sit for hours and hours playing. I still can play, for and hour or two, a quick game and I can always borrow a friends deck. But it seems like i lost those friends in the process of changing.
So this rant is for everyone going to something like this, you are not alone...

We aren't bound together by our strengths or our happy moments. We are bound by the quiet, imperfect spaces we leave for each other to just heal, grow, and be unapologetically human.
