Because dogs are dumb as hell sometimes. This is why you don’t keep your window rolled down in your car when traveling with your dog, they jump out of moving cars all the time when there is enough space to.

I had a dog door installed for our Belgian Shepard and he uses it many times daily. Yesterday, I hear him barking out back. I walk out and he's barking at the sliding glass door. I say use your door and he immediately does. So, I agree.

Our dog is magnificently stupid…except when it comes to things he knows he isn’t supposed to do. Then he becomes a mastermind. Well, in his mind at least, he’s still dumb just remarkably capable of attempting to be sneaky.

He has done the exact same thing now that his “grandma”s house got a dog door installed, complete with actually using it once you mention it somehow…
