Because dogs are dumb as hell sometimes. This is why you don’t keep your window rolled down in your car when traveling with your dog, they jump out of moving cars all the time when there is enough space to.

My German Shepard/chow Sammy jumped out of my dad’s truck window one time when he was taking him on his very first car ride in the neighborhood. The dumb bastard was just so damn excited to spend some time with grandpa and got a little too excited and fell out the window. He didn’t get badly hurt but he had a nice little scar on his chin for the remainder of his life because of it.

Dogs indeed are dumb as hell sometimes.

My dad’s dog tried to bite an angle grinder while it was running. Nice lil scar on her upper lip near the nose. Shes not allowed in the garage while he’s using it anymore.

I had a dog door installed for our Belgian Shepard and he uses it many times daily. Yesterday, I hear him barking out back. I walk out and he's barking at the sliding glass door. I say use your door and he immediately does. So, I agree.

Our dog is magnificently stupid…except when it comes to things he knows he isn’t supposed to do. Then he becomes a mastermind. Well, in his mind at least, he’s still dumb just remarkably capable of attempting to be sneaky.

He has done the exact same thing now that his “grandma”s house got a dog door installed, complete with actually using it once you mention it somehow…

Ain’t that the truth! My dog is a husky and even though he is the most well behaved he has ever been I do not roll the window all the way down when he is the car, they cannot be trusted

Its not like you are thinking, maybe my dog might jump off this dangerously high bridge / overpass. We attached to many human traits to our animals, but they are just animals after all.

I mean the dog was working on that road to begin with.

Yeah animals be animals. He was on the bridge of a suspecious package. Likely just finished and through a toy for the obvious reason - being a good boi.

Was in the video explaining why they were there. All the roads were closed.

I’m aware it’s a police dog. But in the video (this is just a clip). They look to be playing during some downtime on the overpass thing.

Even in the beginning of the clip he throws a ball. Playing

I saw a comment on the video that said he was supposed to be blocking traffic or something while roads were being worked on or clearing debris.

Man/woman my dog was in the car on the freeway and I had the window rolled down just enough for her to put her head out but she got possessed and all of a sudden was trying to squeeze her body through the small opening.

I had her on a leash and harness so I was able to easily stop her but it was the oddest freaking things in the world. Never happened before or after that one particular time, something just got into her head. It was a long day so maybe she was just tired and out of sorts but it was the oddest situation I have ever had with my dog.
