My first ever wow character was a troll warrior in classic. I remember the HUGE disappointment that my 10 year old self had when I realized that helms did not fit properly. Absolutely hated it.
honestly, just a dark drop shadow where the tusks clip would be enough to communicate that there's supposed to be holes for em. Even if they still don't make a lot of sense, it would feel intentional.
I don't understand why they made darkspear trolls like this tbh. They look super cool in cinematics and promo arts. Super dissapointing in the game tho. Helmets don't fit, shoulders are weird, boots don't show when worn, and on top of all look like malnourished junkies. I hope they give us forest trolls with new models instead of a recolor in the future as a race
There is a possibility it could be intentional. If it's playing nice with the nose AND beards. So many helmets in wow drive me up the wall because the noses clip through or the beard vanishes entirely.
The problem with forever's model isn't the helmet, it's the beardless dwarf. I kind of dig the extra space to show off the magnificence of your facial fur, but the model doesn't have any. Shameful!
