SMH Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

Our country is being run by traitors and con men. We need Nuremberg style trials after they are out of power.

Edit: This is my first comment to blow up this hard. Thanks all for the awards!

The US are a joke. When it was about overthrowing a Democrat government with the benediction of Trump, a few thousand people almost succeeded. Now for a fascist government people are spineless.

Your president breaks laws every day without any check and balances. He betrays every alliance concluded with foreign countries when he's not being openly hostile towards them.

You had the Epstein files that in a normal democracy would have been enough to impeach your president. It never happened.

The orange turd will get away with it and all of his billionaires friends and family members too. Unless a real popular and democratic uprising happens justice will never be served.

u/kingofcross 11h ago

The orange turd will get away with it and all of his billionaires friends and family members too

The Orange Turd is untouchable. Their Supreme Court ruled that the President has complete immunity. It was decided that nothing will happen to him before he even took power again. And the Americans aren't going to rise up, their government has successfully domesticated the population.

The United States spent decades preaching to the rest of us about democracy and "freedom" just to turn around and reinvent the monarchy. Absolute hypocritical farse of a country.

u/MrSkivi 10h ago

It’s not a monarchy, but an oligarchy. It’s laughable to hear them accuse Ukraine of corruption and a lack of democracy😁

19

It’s a plutocracy; disguised as a democracy

Rather a simple Idiocracy.

Just wait until there’s a new president. The Supreme Court will decide that this presidency doesn’t have authority to order a pizza.

I thought his imunity only covered him while acting president? He could still spend the rest of his days behind bars for fucking kids back in the 90s. Don't give up hope. Fuck him hard, see how he likes it 😏

7

u/SMELLSLIKEBUTTJUICE 8h ago

They'll probably let him pardon himself. Which doesnt keep him safe from state charges, but the wheels of justice are slow and he is old so I dont have much hope

2

Just a thougt : if the president of the united states has complete immunity, whats stopping who ever comes after him Just throwing the cunt in prison? Or having him shot for treason?

Probably the current president if he successfully rigs the system the way his best friend Putin has

The final check and balance is the people and they'd rather stand idle.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

they'd rather stand idle.

That's demonstrably untrue.

What about all those weekend street dance parties? (record numbers, I'm told)

Have you considered the frog costumes?

I bet you haven't.

12

u/Just_Fuck_My_Code_Up 8h ago edited 8h ago

This issue is much older than Trump and MAGA. Nixon and Reagan committed treason, Bush Senior orchestrated the flow of crack into minority communities as head of the CIA, his son waged war based on proven lies. Nothing happened to any of them

10

u/eles- 8h ago

Check out Tomas Schuman (Yuri Bezmenov) to find out, where/when this started. Its no coincidence that what’s happening actually is happening right now.

He gave an interview )I think almost 50 years ago) where he breaks down what and how the KGB works and that they’re manipulating people over generations to foster a certain mindset within generations. We are seeing their plan working now.

6

u/Snarfbuckle 9h ago

He is only immune if the population allows it.

7

u/Cloudhiddentao 9h ago

The United States spent decades preaching to the rest of us about democracy and "freedom" just to turn around and reinvent the monarchy.

This happened long before Trump, when Americans decided to vote for the children of previous presidents.

The American revolution really was an entire country protesting too much methinks.

I have a question. Obviously your comment implies you don't live in the US, but you know a lot about how our government works. Were you taught in school? Did you learn about other countries as well? Or is your government similar to ours?

6

u/kingofcross 9h ago

I'm Canadian. I've spent alot of time in the US. Even then, we tend to know alot about our powerful, and now very aggressive neighbor to the south.

5

u/bluelily216 9h ago

I'm sorry. I've been trying to keep him out of office since he initially announced his run. It's always been obvious that he's a scumbag.

2

u/fluffyshys 9h ago

try and fight a government when thats exactly what they want. we either fight peacefully till the fight is possible. or we get slaughtered like sheep because were labeled as traitors. we can barely afford bills. health insurance. food. gas. and what can we do? get shot to death by the police? kidnapped by ice? how about lynched by the kkk. and what about those who can't live without basic needs? the elderly? children? if something were to happen now my family would start to die off. meds, power, water. gone.

we hate this more then you think. but what can you do when you have a knife to your throat? cameras on your garbage and mail trucks. and on every street corner. we are in a dark time. and many realize that we cant just stand up...

3

u/kingofcross 8h ago

I'm not even saying these things as an insult to the average American. I'm just making an observation, and the truth is that your country has successfully engineered a situation where it can easily quell major resistance. You mentioning barely affording bills and police violence is a testament of that.

Unfortunately the system has bent over backwards for Trump, I don't think you're going to be able to just vote your way out of this one. Not without some major changes to the system itself. And I think sooner or later, a fight is coming whether you guys want it or not.

2

u/fluffyshys 7h ago

and that is the sad truth. I hope but im running out.

1

u/Why_not_dolphines 3h ago

The french king was also above the law once.

1

u/voodoodahl 3h ago

The American people gave Trump and Republicans the power to do this. They even convinced the so-called smart people among us they were principaled in not voting to stop it. They've even created a fantasy of the other party being controlled opposition to save their precious ego from having to admit they helped usher in America fascism.

At the end of the day We The People did this to ourselves.

1

u/IRGROUP300 10h ago

Rise up? Do you live in a video game? Loads of people just assume armed revolution is necessary.

A new president will arrive and we will vote for them.

6

u/kingofcross 10h ago

A new president will arrive and we will vote for them.

You mean that you will perform the meaningless ritual of choosing one of only two options, and nothing else will change.

And that's best case scenario, since the current clown in power has committed so many crimes while robbing you people blind and repeatedly demonstrated that he's done with democracy.

Like I said, domesticated.

2

u/Cana-Dutch 5h ago

If everyone with common sense would protest for a week or two it would all be over. Stop working and gather on the biggest square in the biggest city nearby. Every member of the army, soldiers and high ranks, Every taxi driver, pilot, public transport, factory workers, government functions, and so on... Just every American with a common sense.

It might cost you 1 or 2 weeks salary, but that's nothing compared to what this whole shitshow costs you now (starting with tarriffs). If it's true what you Americans say: "only a few support this idiotic administration" the whole country would come to a stop. You won't het fired, cause nobody else will do your job during the strike and there are no other people to hire for after that strike.

58

u/succulentchinesemiel 11h ago

Surprised no American's have spoken out yet about how difficult it is for them to protest because they've allowed themselves to get screwed over by both parties for decades. They can't seem to put it together that people in Europe are starting a revolution for much less with similar consequences for protesting. Revolution is not without consequences.
Before anyone jumps, I don't condone any of the looting or destruction happening in Europe.

39

u/ProfesseurCurling 11h ago

As a French protestor it pisses me off that the right wing propaganda uses the incidents (looting/degradation of a few shops) to overshadow the legitimacy of the peaceful protesters that outnumber by far the few rioters.

1

u/Cherryb1612 10h ago

As a Brit, I totally understand. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if the violence was committed by any, other than those who support chaos. They’re all masked up, with little exception, and went there to do a job. And it wasn’t to peacefully protest

1

u/GoodIdea321 5h ago

The right wing media has been focusing on the relatively small incidents at any protest in the US for decades and claiming it is the whole thing. That is probably why so few people protest here.

They did a similar thing with the Tea Party stuff from a little more than a decade ago, those protests were tiny, but they said it meant there is a huge movement behind it.

21

u/Secret-Ad-2145 10h ago

Surprised no American's have spoken out yet about how difficult it is for them to protest because they've allowed themselves to get screwed over by both parties for decades.

Bruh, you have freedom of speech, right to protest, still have some semblance of rule of law. Never mind the 2nd amendment, the graceful amendment Americans won't stop raving about. In what reality are you screwed? I beg Americans to stop acting so helpless.

Is that American technology in your pocket right now? Any apps from america? What about this website you're on, at this very moment?

Imagine this info in the hands of people known to black bag people, and you live in their back yard.

2

u/succulentchinesemiel 4h ago

I'm not American I'm just commenting based on what they say every time this is brought up. "Won't someone think of our capitalism?!"
Everything you say is absolutely on point.

1

u/spyke2006 2h ago

There's been millions of people protesting in America since at least 2020. In cities all across the country. It just turns out that we're way more geographically distributed and the media isn't showing you what's happening. A protest literally just went by my place the other day that was at least 10,000 people strong.

14

u/Chillers 10h ago

u/Allegorist 11h ago

The insurrection that occurred was to benefit Trump, and happened under his control. There was as a result very limited response until quite a while after the fact, which was then later pardoned. The federal government was more than capable of intervening and stopping it, both ahead of time and as it was happening, but they chose not to because it directly benefit (and was coordinated by) the active administration.

If the same thing happened against them, it would not go over anywhere close to the same way. Even with a neutral administration, that national guard would have been brought in immediately. Hell, intelligence agencies probably would have squashed it before it even happened. With a hostile administration that is both the target, and is clearly willing to break any and all rules, laws, and protocol to accomplish their ends, it would be much worse.

I guarantee if the events were replayed against them, there would be much more than just the local police there, and they would not be trying their hardest to avoid injuring or killing people. Quite the opposite I'm sure.

2

u/jrzalman 9h ago

The insurrection that occurred was to benefit Trump, and happened under his control.

Sure, but even that was ultimately unsuccessful. Trump quietly left Washington with his tail between his legs. The idea that people have any real power in this country is a myth.

2

2

u/Fun-Swan9486 6h ago

Its funny how the epstein files are not worth mentioning in media anymore. Nothing happened, no one had to fear consequences, they just went silent.

1

u/ProfesseurCurling 6h ago

I'm french and the other day I watched a lengthy investigation by one of the most famous newspaper (Le Monde, equivalent of the NYT or Washington Post) about Epstein's connections with the French intelligentsia, how he infiltrated French cultural and political circles.

A lot of famous French people kept ties with Epstein well after it was revealed he was a sex predator. One of his handler in France recently died in misterious conditions. Regardless all of that Macron and his government refused to open investigations following those revelations.

The powerful/rich will protect each other. Rules for thee, not for me.

2

u/Ardal 5h ago

Very well said. but I do feel that nobody will touch the Epstein Files because THEY ARE ALL IN THERE, it would bring down their house of cards once and for all. We will never see the truth there.

2

u/lil_sass-a-frass 5h ago

They’ll scheduled a protest on a Saturday when it doesn’t bother anyone. Then go back to work on the Monday

3

u/onoz9 11h ago

The irony is how Americans have always been so proud of their democracy. Well...looks more like a dictatorship to me.

2

u/Secret-Ad-2145 10h ago

When the war in Ukraine began, Americans criticised Russian citizenry for not doing enough. Lacking protests, no civil disobedience - nothing. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, Americans are even more spineless than the Russians. At least US still has rule of law and freedom of speech. And yet even still they aren't willing to do anything about it.

1

u/OPcrack103 10h ago

America is large. There’s a lot of space. Many people’s only exposure to current events is “news.” In America, news media is a sickly thing. Many of the organizations prey upon fear to create anger. So many citizens only exposure to things is what they hear on their chosen media program. They say the pen is mightier than the sword and this is just the proof in the pudding.

1

u/Acrobatic-Roof-8116 9h ago

A fascist government will shoot more than one person.

1

u/farfaxfr 9h ago

Please explain how Trump can be impeached when his party controls both houses? Would be the same in any "normal" democracy assuming there are still some left.

Re the people's "spineless" reaction you have to take into account that those pissed with Trump are not the same as the ones that crashed the Capitol. Libs and progressives unlike the hard right "don't believe in violence", support and practice gun control and trust the judiciary - they're not the rioting kind and they wouldn't last an hour if they tried. So they just sit and wait for the mid-terms crossing their fingers for Trump abiding by the results.

1

u/land-league-inspo 8h ago

The president of the US himself bussed those fuckers in while he was sitting. Let's not pretend that would be allowed, we can't just bus a few thousand into DC these days.

We need something drastic, but let's be honest about the realities here.

1

u/cpmb82 4h ago

I may be missing something, and I’d love to fully blame Trump for it, but didn’t Biden have the Epstein files and not release them?

1

u/ProfesseurCurling 4h ago

Yes but the big reveals happened during Trump presidency. It doesn't take away the guilt of all the people in the files.

1

u/cpmb82 4h ago

Sorry for this but I’m not quite following, are you saying the big reveals, as in the release of the redacted pages, or other things? Thanks in advance 🙂

1

u/ProfesseurCurling 3h ago

Yes it is under his presidency that under pressure his administration published a bit less than half the films, redacted to oblivion.

1

u/cpmb82 3h ago

Yeah I knew that but Biden’s administration had them and didn’t release them before Trump took power, why didn’t they prosecute!?!!

1

u/spyke2006 2h ago

You seem to forget that the only reason that those "protests" might have succeeded on January 6th is literally because they were still in power. Trump himself was leading during portions of the proceedings. He was the one that made sure that there weren't enough Capitol Police present. They were only allowed to get that close because he wanted them to and he was in power. This is further evidenced by the fact that Trump himself pardoned them.

I guarantee if a group were to try what they tried that was anti-trump, they would just get shot and jailed immediately.

1

u/bollvirtuoso 57m ago

True, I was just listening to Senator Duckworth say, and I paraphrase, “if there is a bluenami Nov 3rd, 2026 and Dems have control of the House and the Senate we cannot waste our time with an impeachment process”. I think she is setting the table for the classic “do nothing Democrat” policies and make room for Netanyahu and his family to come over and get their laundry cleaned by us.

1

u/Hemogoblynnn 11h ago

The dems had an opportunity to stop all of this the first time during Biden and they did jack shit. Sadly, they're not going to do anything this time either if they win. I have a few friends who work on the hill in DC and every time I ask them what they are doing if we win back power, all they talk about is health care / affordability (which are great things btw) but it is very clear that there is zero plan to cut this cancer out.

Aaaber sie erkennen ihn nicht an und daher wird alles nur Papier sein, weil eine Auslieferung ist so unwahrscheinlich wie die Hölle einfriert.

1

u/Allegorist 11h ago

I'm not sure if you understand, the not recognizing is the point. The idea is that there may be lower barriers to starting to recognize and follow the ICC rather than try to push through prosecution here where they are able to set up roadblocks like presidential "immunity", stacking the courts, preemptive pardons, etc.

1

u/TurnFriendly8892 9h ago

Bottomline ICC cant do shit

1

u/Allegorist 6h ago

The countries in the ICC can though, and the point is that if the US joined the ICC, there would be a mechanism to prosecute them through that infrastructure instead of having to slog through a broken US judicial system.

1

u/TurnFriendly8892 4h ago

The if is the problem, even Barack Obama didnt want to join. So the chances are really slim here. I do get your point, I dont think they will ever commit. Or maybe they do as a failsave for another corrupt president?

Yes, unless you have some sort of evidence to the contrary. Michigan did a recount, came back clean.

3

u/V1ndictae 12h ago

I mean the writing was on the wall during first term...

3

u/succulentchinesemiel 11h ago

I know right, what a surprise that trump would do something like this... Who could have imagined?

2

u/Albert_street 9h ago

Doing my best. Unfortunately there are a LOT of very, very stupid people in my country.

2

u/the-berik 2h ago

Thousands of school kids being shot, because us'ians scream they need their 2nd amendment when tyrants take over. Meanwhile, when tyrants take over, instead of the 2nd amendment, they just lube their ass and bent over.

2

u/Weird_Ad_7353 2h ago

Absolutely. They claim that Dem presidents are tyrants hut this orange nutsack is the worst one in our history.

5

u/Important-Today4119 12h ago

No amount of prison and fines can punish men with only 20-30 years left to live anyway. Something has to be done so this can't happen in the first place and the cycle won't continue in 100 years when everyone who remembers this is dead

2

u/lordchanceller 11h ago

NEWremburg trials perhaps?

1

u/jhwheuer 12h ago

Pay-per-view will take in millions

1

u/charlienine4 11h ago

The pardon list will be very long

There actually does need to be some form of judicial investigation into the blatant corruption eating away at American politics.

Trump is doing it openly, but it's nothing new, and it has hollowed out the US.

Don't think it'll happen though, I think they're already a failed state, I just can't see the current incumbents of either party seriously trying to sort things out, because they're the people who have created the system and benefit from it.

I really hope I'm wrong, Americans can do good things, but I'm afraid the country has sunk too low.

1

u/Orion3193 11h ago

The best we can do is 0 consequences...

This will never happen. Best you can hope for is that they leave peacefully when they lose an election. The whole of the US is filled with cucks and they’re watching as everyone of these losers fucks the whole country.

1

u/TomatoLess229 11h ago

Its the exact same as when Democrats were running, nothing more either party can do for ukraine.

1

u/FunAdditional6947 10h ago

You gotta go to the street along with others and say that out loud and bring in a change in your country

1

u/fabmeyer 10h ago

Total sellout

1

u/midwestia 10h ago

Shit, we'll be lucky to get a truth and reconciliation

1

u/BeingADickAlways 10h ago

"Nuremberg style trials after they are out of power."

I have some bad news lol

1

u/Accomplished-Sand334 10h ago

It won't happen, because people speak on Reddit instead of doing what is needed

1

u/Sammytheseaotter 10h ago

You think they are going to give up power?

1

u/JusticeBladeAS 10h ago

So the US literally sent a well dressed humble yesman to appease a "lord", sort of... I am genuinely sorry for the americans.

1

u/VindicoAtrum 9h ago

Best the Dems can do is mild statements about "now is the time for unity"

1

u/RelativeAd323 9h ago

Why would they ever leave power?

1

u/Lyonknyght 9h ago

If you think democrats will do anything with their power go ask them how many bankers are in jail for destroying the economy in 2008 .

1

u/gilbertMonion 9h ago

You forgot pedo and pedo protectors

1

u/WoodwoodWoodward 9h ago

I agree. But none of your people are remotely implying they'll do anything of the sort. Unless I've missed it?

1

u/KaleidoscopeSalt3972 9h ago

Firing squads and complete cleaning of the house, senate and courts to remove this filth

1

u/JodieForestWhittaker 9h ago

It's what we need.

It's not what we'll get.

1

u/Decent-Point309 9h ago

I'm actually pretty impressed that he said it with a straight face.

1

u/Raiderdater 9h ago

The whole world is run by traitors and con men and it always has been, so you making this comment now in 2026 as if this is something new is just showcasing how 99 percent of people basically haven't and don't understand how the world works and has always worked. "Worked"

1

u/emidln 9h ago

I'd settle for a Robespierre.

1

u/Falling_Down_Flat 9h ago

That is what they are worried about, that is why they are going after the ICC to try and shut it down.

1

u/wambamthankyoukam 9h ago

We need to be more like the French is what we need.

1

u/madcap462 9h ago

Well there need to be a lot of dead fascists in the streets before the trials...

1

u/Cloudhiddentao 9h ago

after they are out of power.

I think you might need to take some tips from how the Italians dealt with Mussolini if you want to get these tyrants out of power.

1

u/MaxTraxxx 9h ago

You from russia or the US it’s not clear from your statement 🤔

1

u/tibbstibbs 8h ago

Never gonna happen

1

u/charizardino 8h ago

she laughed weird dude, idk what to tell u

1

u/crashbalian1985 8h ago

We tried that after trumps first term and all the Trump appointed judges slowed everything down until he was elected again

1

u/Fit-Jacket-9343 8h ago

By the time justice catches up with them, they'll have poped off to Russia. Feathering the nest.

1

u/VortexF4me123 7h ago

You cowards are the reason they're able to get away with it. If the british kept suggesting peaceful negotiations after september 1939 most of europe would be speaking german right now.

1

u/Auesis 7h ago

We got here in the first place because Nuremburg was too generous.

The things that need to be done are not speakable.

1

u/Haxemply 7h ago

Well, you are weeping for how bad it is for you while other countries are on fire because of it.

1

u/Weird_Ad_7353 7h ago

Oh, no, don't get this twisted. Dumbold had irrevocably damaged the US with allies which will take generations to fix. His lickspittle sycophant followers are a cancer that should be excised with aggressive thouroghness.

1

u/cyclingAudio 7h ago

That's why administration is in war with International Criminal Court and in peace with criminals.

1

u/Weird_Ad_7353 7h ago

100%. Going after the ICC is just asinine.

1

u/Head_Examination3276 6h ago

America is done and this will never happen.

1

u/Possible-Nature-5325 5h ago

And Americans still don’t do shit

1

u/FabiusRenus 4h ago

Hope you will

1

u/Beginning_Act_9666 3h ago

If admin is not supporting Kievan Nazis and talks to Russia it doesn't necessarily make them traitors lmao

1

u/waynesangria 3h ago

The courts will be in the streets or not at all

1

u/bmxandy 3h ago

That's because you shipped all the Nazis with money over there as part of operation paperclip. You gave them new ID's and status. It's hardly surprising they now run the country.

1

u/Bigerst_Dook 46m ago

Fuck the trials, just find a few spare mags

0

u/mattymattymatty96 12h ago

Why wait ?

You have the power to impeach do it!
