Hi everyone! My group and I are working on an INFO 200 project about how older adults use technology, decide whether unfamiliar calls and messages are trustworthy, and find help when needed.

I'm doing some independent research to better understand the everyday challenges people living with chronic illness, chronic pain, or disabilities, whether visible or invisible, face. I want to hear directly from people about their experiences, what they struggle with, what they miss being able to do, and what they've tried that hasn't worked for them.

I'm also interested in knowing what people wish was available to make everyday life a little easier, more enjoyable, or help them maintain their independence. I'm exploring the possibility of creating a product or service in the future, but I'm still in the early stages. Before making any decisions, I want to hear from people about what they actually need rather than make assumptions.

Whether your condition or disability is visible, invisible, or fluctuates from day to day, your experiences matter, and I'd appreciate hearing from you. Something that surprised me when I started my dissertation: there's a lot of research on preventive eye care in kids and in adults over 40, and almost nothing in between. The 26 to 40 stretch is mostly a blank spot in the literature, even though it's when people age off their parents' insurance, change jobs, move, and start families, etc.

I'm trying to fill some of that in, and I'm almost there! I've heard from plenty of people who get eye exams regularly. What I still need are people who haven't been in a few years, or who can't remember the last time.

If that's you, and you're a US adult aged 26 to 40, I'd really love to hear from you! Cost, insurance that doesn't cover vision, no time, no idea where to go, or just never getting around to it are exactly what I'm trying to document.

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.
