Hello! My name is Kevin, and I am the embodiment of ‘The Bear.’ I’m big, hairy, and unintentionally loud. I’m hangry in the mornings and a cuddle powerhouse in the afternoon. I may look intimidating, but I’m actually a big softy on the inside. I give the best hugs, but you’ll need to ask first to get one. Sudden noises startle me. I don’t like confrontation, but come after my people and I’m a force of nature. Napping is a top five favourite activity. Feed me and I’m loyal to you forever. Back scratches are accepted currency in my life. I have experienced the many flavors of abuse and trauma, and would rather die than have someone in my life go through similar experiences unsupported. I am fiercely protective of those in my circle!
I give off real “That is the nerdiest lumberjack I’ve ever seen” vibes. That, or I reignite belief in cryptids like Sasquatch & Bigfoot. It is what it is, hence the bear metaphor fitting nicely. I’m 6’4” and have a pretty well developed dad bod. I’d much rather be cold than hot, so bring on the winter weather! I am also the kind of guy to interrupt whatever conversation we may be having to point out any dogs in the area, even if I am more of a cat dad.
This hairy goof is looking for a lovely woman to connect with, be it over the internet or in person. Long chats into the early morning hours, movie nights, fun outings, trying new restaurants or recipes, I’m all in. Let’s get cozy cuddling under some blankets or playing some games online and see where things go?
I’m not looking to rush into anything, but I am yearning for that deeper connection and intimacy that comes with trust, familiarity, and vulnerability. I crave movie and board game nights, or days spent exploring new neighborhoods and cuisines. I believe in a healthy mix of time spent together and apart, and that we should both be complete people looking to enhance each other’s lives. I’m ready! Hopefully you are too!
I’m a simple, easy to please man at heart. Food, animals, movies, and a board game are the way to my everlasting love. I am a big time history and sci-fi nerd. I was raised by a single mom and have a deep respect for strong women, which I also attribute to my love of characters such as Sarah Connor, Ellen Ripley, & Xena. This combined with such figures as Mr. Rogers, Bob Ross, & Steve Irwing gave me a pretty well rounded outlook. You could say I was radicalized by basic human decency.
As for some other interests I volunteer with local animal rescues in several capacities, and I am also getting involved with the local hospital’s library program. If you want cute cat pictures, I’m your man! I run an active tabletop gaming group every Sunday. I’m the kind of nerd that builds and paints models to escape from the world for a while.
I am very left leaning politically and do not tolerate any forms of bigotry. I do not smoke and very rarely drink, but I do love my baked goods a little too much. I do not have nor want any children of my own. My ambitions are humble but deeply personal; give me a small house, a loving partner, and some rescue animals and I’m more than happy with life!
