Hello everyone, its come to this. I really need your help.

first, meet the suspect who keeps peeing on my bed :(

for starters, we have been to the vet many times and nothing is physically wrong with him. Bloodwork, X-ray and Urinalysis are all clear!

Yet he keeps peeing on my bed… Im really starting to get sad and tired because im living with my boyfriends parents so its hard for me that he keeps acting this way, especially its not even my house. (also he can only stay in the master bedroom with us because theres 2 cane corsos in the house that HE BULLIES BTW)

Most of the times he would pee on the bed when no ones home, sometimes different spots but always on either sides of the bed where we would sleep at.

Today tho, he had two accidents.

One was early in the morning about 6:30 am i woke up and theres a wet spot right next to me. My bf said he was crying for food earlier at around 5:00 am (which is not his mealtime, it’s at 7:30am…) so we thought maybe thats why he peed cuz he was fussy?

Second one was just now im literally just playing rivals on my desk when i see him sitting weirdly on my blanket.. I flipped him on his side and he continued to piss with no shame. I hissed and put him in his condo crate and locked him in. I was done. I couldn’t believe he’d do it WHILE we were at home?? (okay for possible reason: i was late for feeding him by about an hour but he only pissed AFTER i gave him his meal tho?)

Could anyone give me their best guesses on why this could be? Hes perfectly fine physically but hes always done this since he was a little baby kitten but hes 1 year old now and at this point its just a grown ah man pissing on my bed.

Also:

- He knows how to use the litter, he poops there all the time and even pisses there when he feels like it guess. I even give him treats sometimes after he uses it for positive reinforcement. (He has 2 litters, one in his house and one in the master bathroom)

- Yes I have enzyme cleaner thingies that I spray before I even put the sheets in the laundry. I let it soak then wash. I even spray the mattress too as much as I can.

- I also have a Feliway wall plug-in thingy for his calming whatever function it does. I also have a spray of it too but dont really know what to do with it. (He doesn’t seem to like catnip, so I think the spray is also like weird to him maybe? maybe not. I havent tried it that much)

- I have a waterproof blanket, but since I was home and literally in the same room I didnt think id need it, so the same blanket he peed on earlier in the morning was targeted just now again.

- I play with him a lot, he has plenty of toys, and has a lot of cat furniture in the room.

Im not sure what else to really do, I love him so much but it breaks my heart to see him act like this. I can’t let him be like this forever but how do I correct this behavior?

Please let me know if you have had the same experience, or if you have thoughts on what do you think would work/ what his problem is. I really need all the help I can get. I dont know what to do anymore.. He’s my first ever pet and Im really struggling out here.. I love him too much that punishing him gets hard even for me. (also I heard punishments don’t work on cats anyway)

Im getting closer to believing he’s doing this purely because he’s a meanie boy who doesn’t love me.

Edit: I just found out he’s FIV positive, but that doesn’t change anything for me. He can live with FIV-positive or FIV-negative cats as long as they get along. I am also fostering an FIV-positive cat. One of our FIV-positive cats lived to be 23, and we have others who are 19 and 10, living happy, healthy lives. 🧡

Posting Tyson again because this sweet boy desperately needs a home. 💔 He’s staying in a bathroom, and despite being posted several times, he hasn’t received a single adoption application.

He deserves a loving home, a family to call his own, and all the love he’s been waiting for. He deserves a second chance. Please share and help Tyson find his people.

Some of you may remember my earlier post about him..the boy who was hit by a car and kept making biscuits all the way to the vet, and even while he was there.

Someone abandoned Tyson in our feeding area. We knew he wasn’t one of our colony cats because they all have tipped ears. When we rushed him to the vet, we learned that his jaw and teeth were severely broken. He was in immense pain, yet those sweet paws kept kneading. 💔

Tyson has healed now, and he’s ready for a family.

We’ve lost four kitties in four months, and our hearts are broken. Some days, it’s hard to find the strength to keep going. But babies like Tyson, who still need us, help us carry on.

Our space and resources are stretched thin, but emergencies keep coming. Tyson is currently staying in someone’s bathroom. He’s safe, but he’s sad and wants to be part of a family. With a viral outbreak in our foster home, we cannot safely bring a healthy boy like him here.

This beautiful, big, silly orange boy deserves more than a bathroom. He deserves a couch to nap on, someone to love, and a home where he will never be abandoned again. 🧡

Found these two stray cats sitting on a light, keeping themselves warm 😸

We just adopted Toast and his sister Boba from the local rescue. It took less than an hour at home to confirm he has a terminal case of orange. His sister shows no such signs of being a chaos goblin yet.

In doing so I clearly neglected the other orange thing in the house

This is a regular occurrence, I have yet to react fast enough to catch his elusive 10-15 second scream
