Other Reddit is my TikTok and it’s bad

We all hear about how addicted people are to TikTok nowadays. Well, Reddit is my TikTok.

I catch myself opening this app every 5 minutes like something important happened. Half the time I’m just reading random posts and comments.

Yeah, I feel like Reddit has a certain level of realness to it. With TikTok and Instagram, so much of what you see feels fake or staged.

Reddit is like James O'brien's Mystery Hour. A lot of mindless drivel, a guaranteed laugh, and the occasional Ray Liotta.

You'll scroll for hours, rummaging through the bottomless well of mediocre musings until you stumble upon a comment written by someone with decades of knowledge in a particular post. I love those moments.

Someone, somewhere, said that Reddit was the front page of the Internet. I like that. It's the first place I go to see what's going on around the world at the beginning of my day.
