No shit there. I tell my Boomer mother (who is awesome and not your "typical" Boomer) that social security won't be there for me. Imma have to work until I die.

My current cats are ~14 and going strong. I don't want to be catless. I figure my safest bet from here on out would be to stick to adopting the oldest ones in the shelter.

Oh, I guess Im not personally.  Im just saying it doesnt make sense for boomers to worry.  Social security will run out closer to the time GenX and maybe the oldest millenials are retiring.

Yeah but they wont be cut to zero all at once.  I still say boomers will be just fine.

Yeah the first cut is expected to be 15-20%. I still think it will come sooner than most realize
