Discussion Is it that time already?

I just turned 40. I went to a new gym last night and did a class. After the class, the coach (who could have been anywhere like 25 to early 30s) was super nice and chatty and asked me about my fitness goals. I said "well, I just turned 40..." and was about to talk about how I want to ramp up my fitness to honor the milestone and I got interrupted with, "40?? You look great!!"

Now I'm wondering if he was early 20s. Was not expecting that response. Anyone else fell it's a bit premature?

I’m 40. I go to my local smoke shop for papers and see a guy who works there on the regular. He’s gorgeous, and I knew he was super young, so when he started flirting with me, I was floored. I waited until the 5th time I saw him, when he finally asked for my number. I asked him how old he was and how old he thought I was. He thought I was 27. He is 22 πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ I told him my age and asked if it changed his mind. He said no, LMAO. I told him I was flattered, but that I had a boyfriend and was too old for him. But GOTDAMN, what an ego boost. He looks a lot like Luigi. sigh
