I was a freshman and smoked only a few times with my friends but this time I was with my friends older brother and we went to the gas station to get drinks and on the way home he said “you smoke?” And I said hell yeah and commenced the sesh. He turned on the song digital bath by deftones and I was gone into the multiverse on that ride home.

So my first week of junior high, I was walking to my next class with this guy Adam (who went on to ask me to dance at the first dance of the year) and someone passing by says to him "you better not mess with her, shes so and so's little sister"

I was slightly annoyed but also kind proud that not only was my brother well known, I was well known and protected by association.

Alot of his friends had crushes on me but I never knew that til years later, cause they were also afraid of what he'd do to them

One of the most "out of my league" girls I dated had 5 older brothers so she didn't get much attention until moving out of her city. I guess I benefited from her lack of confidence. Anyway, I was not nearly enough of a "dude" for her and she was way more "hanging with the boys" than me, which was at least a small part of our many problems.
