so you think adults should be able to touch children without asking?

in all serious, i'm asking here. if my kid doesn't want to be touched, am i supposed to teach them that they're required to allow adults to touch them anyway?

"Being touched" sounds way more serious and icky than a simple greetings hug. You know how long a greetings hug lasts for? 2-3 seconds tops. It is incredibly strange that someone feels weird briefly hugging a family member.

You are objectively being touched. Another persons hands and body are touching yours. If you don't want to be touched, other people around you, especially family memebers that allegedly care a great deal about you, should not be touching you.
