Had the option to update it to 3.0 I think was updated fairly recently but was going to update it again might as well. I’m pretty sure it was mid way updating and got disconnected. Doesn’t turn on (fully charged) no buttons work screen is black.

EDIT: I was able to re install the firmware through the app it wouldn’t act like it was connected to the website, but I updated it anyway and everything is perfect even my presets were saved.👍🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Been practicing lot more with two button combos recently, fun playing with different ideas on how to use em together. Can make like a little melody while harmonising

I noticed since updating to 3.0 the VLEAD setting doesn't seem to do anything anymore. Has anyone else had this issue?

problem with notes

My Batch 4 unit works perfectly except for buttons 1, 2, and 5 not working exclusively on the drum instrument. I've tried every available version and none have fixed it. AI had told me that it could be corrupt files that aren't getting replaced because each installation sees it as a file and doesn't replace it. There doesn't seem to be a way of REALLY factory resetting it, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue? It seems like it is purely software related and it seems so fixable but no pathway to actually do it.

Hello all - I have a HiChord currently out for delivery, and I was wondering if you can save loops, do they survive a power cycle?

I've searched and I think the answer is no. If so, then please take this as a feature request. I think it would be really really beneficial to the device.....make a few loops (literally anywhere), and then be-able to import to DAWS/Samplers etc., at a time that is convenient.

I recently received my Batch 6 HiChord, and I’m really enjoying it, but I’m hearing a persistent hiss through the headphone output.

I’ve tried two different pairs of headphones, and the noise is present with both. Turning the HiChord’s volume up or down doesn’t change the level of the hiss.

Has anyone else experienced this? If you had the same issue, ¿were you able to fix it?

I sent an email to support, but they haven't responded yet.

Nice family picture - all working together nicely. HiChord with the OPXY is a joy - and no more connectivity/battery issues via TRS!

Whilst i appreciate the devs hardwork in getting the Hichord to be recognised as a midi device (particularly on the OP-XY)......Its still intermittent. The problem still seems to be with battery level. If it goes under a certain threshold - the device will not be recognised in the OPXY. Ive never percivered with a product as much as this one (i do like it) but please look into optimising the battery further so the Hichord isnt spending half its life plugged into the wall socket. thanks

I found out that when I've plugged into a power source and it kills my sound, even after a hard reset, if I just plug the hichord into my iPhone and give the iPhone access to the accessory when asked, it resets the switch and the sound is back again. A handy fix especially when all you have on you is your hichord and your phone.

Had a good morning learning how to use the looper. here's how I did it:
1. I set the length of the loop to 1 bar to make things easier and set BPM to 80.

1. I practiced recording a track, selecting another instrument, recording the next track.

2. I practiced selecting a track to record on it specifically.

3. I practiced clearing specific tracks and re-recording.

4. I recorded a mic sample and used it on a track.

5. I figured out how to add drums to different tracks...mostly. the UI is a little glitchy. It's not at all clear what the track symbols on the drum screen mean, or why sometimes two of them appear.

6. I learned that yellow effects chooses different drum sets when drums is selected.

It helped me to simplify and practice the basics. Don't worry about whether or not it's good music at first. Learn to use the thing.

When I select it and then move the joystick up, I don't see MIC and LOOP as I cycle through; I only see the Reverb menu.

I am having a lot of issues with my Hichord. See below

I bought it end of July and found these issues the first time I hooked it up to my DAW and Interface early September

My Hichord currently uses Beta 2.8. I am reluctant to upgrade to beta 3.0 without Hichord confirming this will be a fix.

I sent an email to Hichord on 9/16 and followed up on 9/22, 9/25, and 9/30. I have had no response, nor other communication from Hichord

Here are some of the problems with my Hichord

1. Some of the instrument sounds crackle through both the 3.5mm jack and usb audio regardless of volume. Other instrument sounds crackle the more I play after selecting them. 

2. V Lead does not to do anything when turned on.

3. The joystick often confuses the noon and 1 O’clock positions for min/maj and the 7th chord 

4. The Joystick position to play the 9th (4 O’clock) is louder than all other chord variations for some instruments usually in lower octaves

5. Playing quarter notes or eighth notes leads to inconsistent sounds. The keys struggle to keep up with the movement. I sometimes get random, deep, bass sounds that are much louder than regular notes 

6. I was not able to get midi to work to over 3.5mm. I tried a 3.5mm midi A to B adapter from the Hichord to the Mellotron but was not successful

• Far fewer CPU LIMIT warnings. The engine is much faster now.
• Windows not finding the HiChord? The updater now walks you through the driver fix step by step.
• Looper navigation fixed

hey I just got my first hichord, batch 4, and being an edgelord, just updated to 3.0 beta. is there a specific manual for it?

My HiChord arrived today! The eBay seller left the device on before shipping so it was a little warm coming out of the box. But what stood out to me most was where the pads on the back were located. Searching other images online I guess this is normal? Where are yours located?

My the joystick cap for my Hichord Batch 4 is quite tough to press in. When taking the cap off, the joystick clicks normally, however with the cap on, it is much harder to press. So I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase another joystick cap. I tried reaching out to support through email, but hadn't heard anything, so thought I would try here!

About a week ago I ordered the HiChord in Cosmic Blue. When I made the purchase it was "In stock" and "Ships Now", but haven't heard anything since then. Now the cosmic blue is no longer even available. Every attempt I have made to contact HiChord has gone without answer and I am starting to worry that I just flushed $320 down the toilet.
