This has been in development for close to 10 years, and at its core, transforms WoW from a traditional tab-targeting MMO into an action-combat game with Reticle Targeting, Click Casting, Mouse Look, and a ton of other features that help push the moment-to-moment gameplay of WoW towards that action-combat vision.

I came back to WoW for the Forever release and really liked Blizzard’s new quest tracker. It looked great, but I missed some of the QoL features other addons offered.

So I made BetterTracker to add more customization and useful controls while keeping that familiar look and feel. I thought others might appreciate it too, so I wanted to share it.

It keeps Blizzard’s tracker and adds:

• Zone Grouping: Collapsible zone sections, current zone first, and optional auto-collapse for other zones.
• Sorting: Sort by quest level, title, or Blizzard Order, with unfinished or completed quests first.
• Completion Controls: Fade or minimize completed quests and hide finished objectives.
• Zone Previews: Hover over a collapsed zone to see its quests and progress.
• Custom Colors: Choose Blizzard, BetterTracker, or Custom presets, with adjustable colors and text brightness.
• Quick Controls: Expand or collapse zones directly from the tracker, and right-click the Quests header for sorting and settings.

First release is now on CurseForge. I only play WoW Forever, so compatibility with other versions hasn’t been confirmed. Obviously, beta will be over soon, but I will be updating this for the full release.

Hey everyone! I’ve just released QuestFocus 1.0.0, a WoW addon I’ve been developing to bring some of the exploration and immersion back to questing.
One thing I’ve always loved about Classic WoW is the feeling of discovering things for yourself. But with modern quest addons, I often find myself following waypoints and staring at the minimap instead of actually experiencing Azeroth.
That’s what inspired QuestFocus.
Rather than showing you exactly where to go, it uses a subtle golden glow around the edges of your screen to guide you in the general direction of your quest. You still have to explore, pay attention to your surroundings and figure things out yourself.
It has Explorer and Guided modes depending on how much assistance you want.
It’s currently built for WoW Forever, with version 1.0.0 now available on CurseForge.

Anyone have something similar to this? The creator stated they're not working on it anymore or porting it over to Forever. It had stylized elements that were my favorite from anything I've seen. Shame this was the one UI addon I used instead of the regular classic default

In the past I'd save the interface and WTF folders, but when I open the classic beta folder, I can't seem to find the WTF folder.

Hi, does someone know if we can make these bar to be bigger ? I tried to find any option ingame, but I really can't find it.
It's really too little for me to easily read them, but the only option I found that could make them bigger was to increase all my UI size (and that's just not the best solution to rework all my UI for that).

Hi all, just asking if there are any addons that make the levelling experience slightly easier in terms of where to go? One thing I really struggle with Forever as a Retail Andy is knowing WHERE to level and which quests to take and which to ignore due to not being worth it. Are there any addons or resources to help this? I don't want something like RXP or GuideLime where its a speedrunning guide but just something that points me in the right direction.

Furthermore if there are any addons that help with quest tracking in different zones and dungeons that would be helpful too!

Hi ya'll, I really enjoy rain for some reason IRL and in-game, but it doesn't rain enough in-game so I made an add-on for myself, and figured why not publish cause others might enjoy it

Comfy Rain. Rain or snow anywhere, four intensities each, drizzle up to stupid monsoon.

• Game's own weather sounds, layered so they don't loop obviously, plus distant thunder
• Wind gusts move the rain, the audio and the light together, not on separate timers
• Time of day. Run the world's lighting off your clock instead of the realm's. Aussie on a US server and it's 4am in game at your lunchtime? /comfy time local. Or +9 to shift it, or 18 to pin golden hour forever. Works with the rain off, so it's a lighting mod on its own
• Export your whole setup as one line of text and paste it to a friend
• Every slider prints its slash command while you drag it, so you learn them without trying

What it can't do, up front:

• It's a screen-space overlay. Addons can't touch the game's real 3D weather, lighting, particles or sky
• So: no rain outside a window while you're stood indoors, no sky or fog changes, no puddles
• Real server storm? It gets out of the way and lets the game's own 3D rain fall. That one's better than anything I can draw

What I actually want help with:

• Indoor detection is a guess and it gets it wrong. The client answers for the whole building you're in, not what's over your head, so courtyards, awnings, bridges and cave mouths fade the rain out when they shouldn't. /comfy bug grabs your coords for you
• Do the intensities feel right, or is the top end silly?
• What's missing? Fog and drifting leaves are on the list, nothing's locked in

I play in 4k and after the today's update everything in the MDT addon is TINY. Any way to fix this?

I play with controller in WoW Forever beta, trying my best to keep everything simple, no cluster in the middle of the screen so I can enjoy the scenery

I made a lightweight tanking HUD for Protection Warriors:

• Rotation, rage and threat at a glance
• Voice callouts for Revenge, Shield Block, Sunder full and more
• “Refresh Sunder / Rend / Thunder Clap” warnings, 1–10 s before they drop
• Fully movable, WeakAuras-style layout, no setup needed

At first I just wanted it for personal use, but since I stream when I play(just a small potato), a lot of my viewers has shown interest and wanted to use it as well, so I uploaded it to curseforge and want to share it to everybody.

It’s a ring HUD inspired by the stamina wheel in Breath of the Wild, it tracks the follow players information:
- health
- mana/energy/rage
- combo points
- swing timer
- cast bar
- pet health/mana

All in one circular ring

You can adjust it as small as you like, but that’d be very hard to see :)
Size of half a gnome is just about right

What do you guys think?

I only tested it on WoW Forever Beta coz that’s the only version I play right now
But it should work just fine with any version, unless it doesn’t.
