Discussion wowguildfinder project
I've been playing around with an idea to make finding a guild easier.. I feel that one of the biggest challenges is being able to see timezones, exactly what a community is actually looking for in a recruit & how I can connect with them on discord and that
I feel like the best part of WoW is the people you meet along the way, and it'd be great to help more players find a community they enjoy being part of..
would love to hear everyones thoughts on they'd find would be helpful in such a tool I'm working on

Discussion Avian race~ Could this be a way to have arakkoa as a race?
So i was playing hearthstone and noticed one of the new cards is a avian like race and i've never seen a bird like race with this design. I thought it was a arakkoa at first but nether had 6 limbs.
This most likely just the hearthstone being creative again but i feel like this could be a good base to give peeps playable bird race for the future~
Looks like a fusion of both past and current arakkoa, maybe as a idea they found a way to gain flight again or dealt with there curse and this is the result. (just an idea)

WoW: Forever Please add lore-friendly options for original races from retail to keep their HD models as customizable as the Skyborne.

Feedback Undead should have all the races as undead not just human.
Seriously, how cool would it be walking around as a undead Tauren or any of the other none human(oid) races.

Discussion Venomstones don't drop in Normal raid
It is a bit ridiculous that Normal raid is rated below the Delves?
Went into a normal run - people are still clueless about how to dodge the barrage on Nekzali. Killed 2 bosses, no Venomstones. How can this be easier/less time investment than solo content you do with an NPC?

Question Difference EU and CN
I noticed that top Players Choose different Tanks. Can someone explain why EU prefers Druid and China DK?
In General the teamsetting ist the Same (DD/Heal) and I couldnt finde a reason 😂
(Sry for my Englisch)
Edit:
If I compare pure Rio Rating I get the same result. Top 10 CN Tanks are all DKs and the top 10 EU Tanks are 70% Druid and Only 30% DKs

Question Midnight is in discount?
I paid for this expansion a week ago, but now it’s showing up at a discount in the store. Can I request a refund—to be credited as Blizzard balance—so I can purchase it again?

Discussion Retail One Shot Raid Exploit
I'm not sharing this to encourage people to use this exploit but to highlight that it exists. Rextroy on YouTube just dropped an exploit where he and his friends essentially one shot kith'ix. The video can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DxTsvdePr4
Edit: Added the name of the youtuber

Discussion wow retail - bugs per release
There is a lot of discussion about recent WoW patches having more bugs. I wanted to check whether the data matches the community feeling.
I collected 611 issues, most came from Blizzard blue and hotfix posts.
The data seems to align with that feeling:
- The median count for 12.x is 25 documented issues per release, compared with 21 for both 10.x and 11.x.
- For block or disruptive issues (my subjective analysis), the median count is 4.5 per release in 12.x compared with 3.
This data is most likely incomplete, wowhead and others should have a better picture, same with blizzard internal tracking. The community feelings about the game also change how much impact a bug has.
I would not be surprised blizzard shifted resources to wow forever release for a while, the question is when blizzard will see this as an issue they need to address (again).

WoW: Forever I can't decide between Rogue or Mage for wowF.
I am going horde but split between Rogue and Mage.
My main Focus will be DPS for Dungeon/Raids and World PVP viability.
What Race for each of these would you go for if you chose to do mainly World PVP?
Which would be easier to gear and dominate World PVP early vs late game.

Discussion Is Heroic/Mythic raiding still extremely reliant on solver add-ons (ie WeakAuras)?
Please note that this is not meant to be a judgemental thing, if the answer is "yes" then that's perfectly fine, this is just an inquiry for my personal edification.
I am a returning player who fell off during Legion and stopped paying attention to the game entirely during Shadowlands. So far I've been sticking to Dragonflight stuff because I liked the story and I haven't bought Midnight just yet, but I haven't decided what kind of content I'd like to orient myself toward.
Raiding is an option, since it was something I enjoyed during my original run with the game and I've also become an avid Savage clearer in FF14 since, but I also remember that one of the things that made me stop liking WoW raids personally was that add-ons like WeakAuras were being leaned on more and more, and that didn't sit well with me (again, purely personal here- zero judgement to those who like it). This was only amplified when I found myself watching and learning about Sanctum of Domination and Sepulcher of the First Ones fights out of curiosity during their respective World First Races and seeing how heavily solvers were used at even a basic strategic level.
I thought I'd heard that Blizzard had at some point after SL moved to address the mechanics/add-ons arms race by reducing the amount of access all add-ons had, but this week in the process of doing the Dragonflight story I decided to look up the Amirdrassil fights to see what they were like live... and a number of the entries for the Mythic difficulties mention WAs as core pieces of the approach, in fact the Fyrakk Mythic guide I found flat-out opens with "To begin, we need to commit some time to explaining the WeakAuras necessary for this fight", resulting in over 1/3 of the entire guide video being dedicated to add-on functions. That gave me some pause.
Now obviously DF was 2 expansions ago and things might've changed, but that's entirely why I'm asking the question in the title. Again, I cannot stress enough that this is purely a personal preference thing as I am trying to decide what sort of content I might want to try for as I attempt a return to the game, if H/M raiding is still very reliant on such add-ons all it means is that I need to pick something else.
Thanks in advance!
