I'm a dad of 3, and there's absolutely no way I'll ever play Forever during the day. I'm sure I'm not the only one here.

And I have to say, this is one of the few things I'm really not looking forward to. WoW looks so much better during daytime, and it feels wrong that I'll basically never get to see it like that. Instead I'll spend every evening squinting at my screen trying to see things in the dark.

Maybe this will get downvoted, I guess a lot of people here have more flexibility with when they play. But for those of us who can only play after work and kids, it really sucks. I'm actually a bit worried it'll end up affecting how much I end up wanting to play.

Would it really be that bad to let people choose between day and night? Or at least have a rotating cycle so we're not stuck with the same time of day forever?

Literally makes my head hurt and I hope they fix it.

Just a casual observation, nothing game-breaking; this is one of the first quests you get as a newly christened bovine. Right in the starting area. Interestingly, none of the Tauren classes start with the 2 handed axe skill.

Was playing around with a warrior and thought 'Oh cool, axe!'... but nope.

Lv 30 in < 6 hours.

I’m still trying to decide which faction to choose on the 4th.

I’ve never played the Alliance and the other day I thought about the dwarves, since I want to start with a paladin, and playing one as a dwarf feels much more "right" to me based on my personal 'role-playing lore' of that class than playing one as an undead.

And that, in turn, made me think about the lack of resources the Horde faced when building Orgrimmar.

Compared to Stormwind, I feel like Orgrimmar is… ugly. Except for the music, of course.

Have any of you chosen a faction based solely on the capital city?

Obtain arcane salvager.

Loaded bank with drops from entire beta.

Decide to test before the beta ends.

Place arcane salvager in ratchet. Get to work disenchanting.

Random invite to group. Declined. Still phase into a new instance.

Camp and Arcane salvager gone. Out the materials to place it and now have a cooldown to place another.

I genuinely had so much fun during tonight's stress test! Ngl, it really felt like old times.

What started as a small group of us watching the sunset turned into an impromptu adventure swimming out to the Stormwind Lighthouse. With about two minutes left, we decided to swim out into the ocean, where we all died of fatigue just as the servers shut down.

Playing the stress test 21.10.2026 and everything runs great except one thing. In the Orc starting zone the big soft diagonal shadows on the ground (and the shadow behind the hill) keep expanding and shrinking, like they're switching on and off. It's not fast flickering, more of a slow pulse, and it's very noticeable when standing still too. I think it's because of the dynamic light and weather. Idk...

Specs: RTX 3070 Ti, 621.01 drivers

What I already tried, no change: DX11 instead of DX12 Every Shadow Quality level, including off Ambient occlusion / depth effects off Updated NVIDIA driver

Is anyone else seeing this, and has anyone found a setting that fixes it? I'm also sending an in-game bug report, but wanted to check if it's just me.

It's actually quite disgusting. AI generated designs make me actually gag especially if it's food. Something about the texture is so gross.

What I don't understand is why it seems like almost every wow creator is using AI on their thumbnails? I feel like for every video I click not interested I get 2 more and it's ONLY wow forever videos.

Am I only just seeing it now because of my watch preferences? I don't generally keep up with the current trends in media because I am boring so maybe I have just been missing this trend?
