Just like on the Saratoga variant I have no idea where the torpedo launchers are. In game they come out of the mission pod.

Forgive the optical pixelinterference pattern distortion.
I just begun playing a klingon character, as I usually only play romulan, or Starfleet, and in one of the first missions, I believe the Fekhiri arc, there was this massive hulking kkingon dreadnought, that one-shot killed an enemy bop with a single aft beam. I never really cared about klingon ships aside from my favorite, the K't'inga and Negh'Var, but THIS massive beast even eclipses the Negh'Var class.
But I wonder how they solve the ever-so-increasing tiers continually eclipsing the preecessor top-of-the-foodchain. I wish the Negh'Var was the all time largest klingon ship

We're excited to share that with this year's "Fall of the Old Ones Event" on October 22, we are introducing several new features to improve Star Trek Online's graphical fidelity.
We didn't want to wait to share them with you, so we are enabling them in an experimental state. This means that they are opt-in and DISABLED by default.
We'll go into more detail below, but a few things to say at the start:
Open the game's Option's Menu and navigate to the ADVANCED tab. Scroll down to the EXPERIMENTAL section and enable the features you wish to use.
This list describes each feature. We've included before and after images for some of the features at the end of the blog, so check them out!
We hope you enjoy these new graphical features, and feel free to leave feedback on our Official Discord!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
(Also I wish we had a proper testing area instead of using specific missions/patrols which go on cooldowns)

My Mom passed away last month and I haven't touched my TOS character where she's one of my bridge officers so what ship should I get for my TOS character? She and I were big fans of the Constitution class cruisers so if y'all have any recommendations I'd appreciate it
There's been ups. There's been downs. Both in game and out. I've made true friends along the way.
I can't begin to describe how far my skill level has progressed since that day. I still remember someone from my fleet teaching a fledgling captain how to set up Auto executes, and how much of a game changer that was to me. Yet, after all this time, I am still learning more and new ways to play this game.
Thank you to STO and it's community. I look forward to continuing our adventures on the final frontier together!

Hello Captains!
I hear that XBOX is experiencing a little wait time now too along with PS and of course PC. Is that still happening? I tagged this post Cross-platform in hopes that some console players might gain something, but as always these are PC data points.
For months, the general trend has been that change in throughput mostly follows change in queue length. Well, not for the last two weeks. There are a few things lining up that could be leading to this: Yesterday my September 1 order came through, which I believe is just after the ending of the Demon Hunt event. Yesterday was October 20, which is the tail end of the Rediscovered event. Previously, we experienced a drop in throughput for orders started at the end of the Risa event, so I am increasingly of the idea that the player base drops as events come to a close. Additionally, if we think about throughput as a way to measure dilithium demand, we’re also in a moment where dilithium availability is increased in game. It’s not only the bonus dilithium phase of Rediscovered, but also a Red Alert, and also admiralty bonus. So we have a possible drop in active players on both ends of the sales period, and a reasonable explanation for a decrease in dilithium demand on the tail end. To top it all off, it’s possible that we have a lot of people refusing to sell Zen in anticipation of a Black Friday sale, which is likely to hit in about a month. Based on these pressures I think it makes sense that throughput is dropping, but all my reasoning here is speculative at best. I am quite excited for things to realign with the normal pattern.
As a little something extra this week I’m including the fulfillment window in terms of throughput on the graph.

My most recently accepted offer was made September 1. Let's compare August 26 - September 1 to August 19 - August 25. Last Wednesday my most recent offer was from August 28. Crazy.
Week over Week:
| Metric | Value | Change |
|---|---|---|
| Average Queue | 11,947,668 | +0.30% |
| Average Periodic Throughput | 10,666 Z/hr | -3.14% |
| Average Wait Time | 46.70 Days | +1.6 Days |
In the graph above, look at the right end of the black line where it drops. Look also at where the blue line shakily trends slightly up. We can see that represented in numbers on this table. The average queue increases slightly while the periodic throughput slips.
Here's the forecast, because some idea is still better than no idea.
Short Term Forecast:
| Offer Time | Fulfillment Window | |
|---|---|---|
| 9/2/26 16:31 | 10/21/26 00:39 | 10/22/26 01:23 |
| 9/3/26 17:46 | 10/21/26 16:42 | 10/23/26 12:06 |
| 9/4/26 17:38 | 10/22/26 05:18 | 10/24/26 15:24 |
| 9/5/26 17:20 | 10/22/26 21:29 | 10/25/26 18:42 |
| 9/6/26 17:06 | 10/23/26 19:28 | 10/27/26 02:53 |
| 9/7/26 17:04 | 10/24/26 13:06 | 10/28/26 06:27 |
| 9/8/26 18:28 | 10/25/26 17:25 | 10/29/26 20:53 |
Long Term Forecast:
| Offer Time | Fulfillment Window | |
|---|---|---|
| 9/15/26 17:21 | 10/30/26 22:19 | 11/6/26 12:23 |
| 9/22/26 17:32 | 11/7/26 03:24 | 11/15/26 03:00 |
| 10/21/26 06:39 | 12/7/26 03:49 | 12/14/26 17:59 |
I'll leave you with a couple fun statistics. Well, I think they're fun. For any given offer, actual completion date has been an average of +/- 3.8 days off of my initial forecast, or 5% off in terms of throughput value. With seven revisions remaining, +/- 1.23 days or 2%. My final revision, +/- 6 hours or less than 1%. And as a reminder, my fulfillment windows are the sum of that average and the standard deviation of the values that comprise that average.
Yep, I'm still excited to keep reporting on this madness!🖖 💥

Hello Captains!
I'm working on a tabletop army for OnePageRules' Saurian Starhost faction, and I wanted to model the paint scheme after the Voth. Sadly, it seems the old BTS blog posts about their creation in for the Dyson Sphere expansion is no longer hosted on the website. and the WayBackMachine doesn't always keep images.
If anyone could help me find the blog or the images therein, I'd be grateful.

Hey Captains! In the blog that announced the 60th Anniversary Starship Icons Lock Box, we used the phrase "This is the cheapest an individual box can cost," in regards to the 60-Pack of Icon Packs. This phrase lead many people to believe that the 60-pack-bundle was the cheapest these boxes would ever be, and that was our error in phrasing. This caused a lot of frustration when we put two new bundles on sale this weekend, and the individual packs were cheaper in those bundles. We apologize for the confusion and frustration we caused.
On Thursday at 8am on PC, anyone who bought the 60-pack-bundle will be able to claim, for free, 10 Starship Icon Prize Packs, once per account. These will be in the Promotions Tab of the Zen Store. These Prize Packs will never expire.
In addition, when these Prize Packs launch on Console, Console Captains will be able to purchase a 70-pack-bundle instead of the 60-pack-bundle. This bundle will cost exactly the same amount of Zen as the 60-pack-bundle did on PC, and will still contain 60 bonus schematics. Thanks for your patience over the last few days.

Hey all, googling doesn't seem to help me here. I'm looking to give my ground ENG BOff Photon Grenade Launcher Fabrication I. According to the wiki it's available from Earth Space Dock (23c) or Fleet K-13, but I've looked at both and cannot see it at all.

Getting back into this game after years and years. Started a new character since I barely remember how to play or what does what. Seem to be a lot of tweaks to the start of the game.
After beating the Doomsday Device it sends me to this mission called Kuva'magh. Which I don't remember. (But I also didn't remember fighting the Doomsday Device either, so that means little.)
And OMFG this missing is just slapping me around. I only have half my regular landing party and am fighting three (three!!) unkillable gorn where I cannot do enough damage in the small window they're frozen to remotely slow them down and they melt my health bars.
I have no idea what's going on in this game anymore but I'm guessing this is new content for high level characters that isn't properly level gated. But it also doesn't feel like a later mission since Shon is on the Belfast not the Enterprise. I dunno...
Maybe I just suck.
Either way it's a super frustrating reintroduction to the game.

Found myself standing outside earth spacedock during the server issues yesterday.
"Server not responding. Please enjoy the vacuum of space while we resolve this issue.”
r/sto • u/ambassadorkael • 1d ago
It appears there has been an issue with the servers on all three platforms, and users are being logged out. We're investigating this right now and we'll keep you informed.
Or the option already there in a setting somewhere and I'm just missing it?
Can't say the game has the easiest to read Options screen on PC, so I won't be surprised if I've just missed something fundamental in there that could help out with the usual post-Kern System Patrol 'F' spamming to collect lootz.
