Question Why are these apps so massive after being installed for a while
i just uninstalled facebook and switched to a lite web based version as well. Because it was taking up like 8 gigs by itself...

Hello. The specs of smartphones from these companies looks great on paper and I used to own Redmi Note 5 pro which was a great phone for me, but have been vary if vivo, oppo back then and somewhat still am because these are more camera centric phones, whereas I prefer more durability and reliable phones with good battery.
I am looking for a new smartphone for using whatsapp, doomscrolling on Instagram and X, maybe a yt video or two and light offline games play maybe. Camera is nit priority for me. I have used Samsung phones twice and they did not work well for me. My sister owned a motorola but it’s motherboard blasted within 7 months of purchase so that’s also a no-no.
Are the smartphones from Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo companies worth it to buy, or are they still not reliable even in 2026, compared to OnePlus, esp Nord CE6 model which I am kind of eyeing to buy?
please also share after sales service experience with these companies, if any?

Those phones cost the same price for me. I heard many great things about that Poco but not so much about Oppo. I couldn't even find a single comparison between the two.
What will u guys prefer?

Ive been lookng at both phones currently and im not sure what one toget as ive found them both for about the same price for the 256gb modle so price is not a issue its just what one is better as pixel has better battery and cameras and 1 yr extra support but a57 has better customisation, windows link and thinner bezzels. They are both better in some wasy such as pixel cleaner software ect. When it comes to chips I domt know whats better i think they match but lemme know what one i should get
