By endorsing Vivek’s ad in Ohio, JD sent a clear message out that he will always side with a child abuser if politics are involved.

Well yeah. Part of why the US never ratified the UN’s Rights of the Child is because the right wing wants parents to be permitted to do what-the-fuck-ever they want their children. Children are property, not their own people in the GOP rule book so of course they will double, triple, quadruple down on anything that supports people who exploit children.

and remember folks, the US participated in the creation of the UN’s Rights of the Child.

The US is the only participating nation that has not ratified the children’s bill of rights to this day.

TLDR: US played along, virtue signaled, and then dipped out come time to sign this into law.

Almost like legislators in the US don’t want to formally protect children! Weird
