I don't understand why people criticize him for it, yes he could have been more firm and maybe take more actions, but remember, he is the first black president and every action or saying of his is under tight scrutiny by Republicans. They do whatever they can to make him fail. Also, pretty much the first 6 years of his tenure he was dealing with financial crisis and it's fall out, and at the same time Arab spring came along, then there is civil war in syria, the death of gaddafi, that led to ISIS, Obama wasn't dealt a good hand at all.

You mention civil war in Syria and the death of Gaddafi as if he didn't play a large role in both of those happening in the first place

"Well, well, well if it isn't Obama's old nemesis: the consequences of Obama's actions."

Yeah it's funny as hell describing Gaddafi's death as jus part of "a hand he was dealt".

He didn't play a large role in the Syrian Civil War happening. Sixty years of rule by one corrupt, fascist family did.

Do you know where the rebels got their weapons? The CIA operation (initiated in 2012 under Obama's direction) was called Timber Sycamore.

I consider using that to blame Obama "for" the Syrian Civil War unfair.
