Things Democrats were supposed to do but Republicans actually did it:

  • Took away rights (Roe v Wade)
  • Worsened the economy
  • Sexually abused and exploited children and protect those that did
  • Install an authoritarian regime
  • Start a war
  • Suppress freedom of speech (which can be attributed to the first bullet, but it's a whole thing now so I figured it was worth keeping separate)
  • Bring in their corrupt friends and make it a swamp.

Remember "death panels?" The way they handled covid was basically that.

Death panels are already how insurance works and the only reason they would exist in a public system for the republicans to talk about them is that republicans would insist on them to keep costs down.

trump was withholding federal aid unless states were "nice to him". that was real. a siiting us president had to hold a pandemic over peoples heads so they would be nice to him.
