Video Marvel's Wolverine - KytyPS5 Emulator - Revisiting Wolverine a Few Weeks later - Has Performance improved at all? Let's See.

Im not like these other testers. I like to show you the real and if it's horrible then thats just what it is.

Considering the fact this game runs at a Smooth 60 FPS (more on VRR display) on Base PS5 with Ray Tracing (In Performance Mode) The Emulator has it's work cut out for it to even get close to that. But it's still early days and performance is improving everyday so There's that. Full Vid Here to see the rest of the gameplay.

I appreciate your support. It encourages me to continue to Test these out. 💪🙏

Discussion I've been hacked, multiple account across different services were hijacked at once. I would like to understand how hacker could bypass 2FA phone verification on some services

Few days ago (19 october) I've found in SPAM folder multiple mails with information that my various account passwords and mail has been changed (discord, EA, Epic, Steam, Battlenet, Microsoft).

In some cases (like for battlenet) I even had added phone number but that did not help.

Hacker changed password, mail, removed phone numbers etc.

I've read online that this was probably infostealer hijacking web cookie but my hacked emails were not hacked, I've got access to them

My question:

* did hacker had access to my mail? That would explain why all those messages went to spam

* how did he bypass 2FA / PhoneVerification? Was it because of cookie and stored credentials/ remember this device option?

* I've done full windows reinstall and migrated all those services do different (new) mail with the use of a second computer. Is my original mail safe to use after password change?

* what are chances of recover battlenet and epic accounts - those two I could not save in time. I've created tickets but still waiting for answer (which makes me nervous tbh).

Discussion Update: RX 9060 XT 16GB from Temu (Wall of text; Unbox video in the comment.)

Hey guys, I've just reached home, so I am updating you about my 9060 XT 16GB Hellhound, bought FROM Temu and SHIPPED by Amazon Shipping, and left on my restaurant's front in its retail box. As you can see in the pics, there is my card with the original plastic that I peeled off it, the shipping labels that got slapped straight to the back of the retail box, GPU-Z and CPU-Z info, stats while running Cyberpunk 2077 (Native 2K/High-Ultra/FSR On/FG On-Off), Doom: The Dark Ages (Native 2K/High/FSR On/FG Off-On), Hogwarts Legacy (Native 2K, Ultra, FSR On/FG Off) without Ray-Tracing, Amazon delivery info from Temu app, delivery guy's message time vs the time I took the pic, and the Temu seller's info. Yesterday, there was light rain, so you can even see the water damage on the box's end, caused by it being placed on the ground outside. I am a student working part-time, so no way in hell that I would treat my hard-earned money like that just for a picture for Reddit.

Originally, I just wanted to complain about how Amazon Shipping's delivery guy left it in front of my restaurant instead of just bringing it inside, but I did not expect the post to explode into so many discussions, so I want to clarify a few things here, as well as provide proof.

1/ Why the hell do I order a GPU from Temu: Definitely not what I do every day, and while I understand that most of the stuff there is junk, there are also legit sellers that sell legit stuff at the market price or slightly discounted. The seller in the pic seems to be reliable; the stuff is not super cheap to be unreasonable and is sold in a lot of units. eBay listings that day showed the 9060 XT 16GB to be from £480 - £600; Amazon listings are all above £500, and this one was £446 pre-coupon, then why not? I am not dumb enough to buy a £100 9060 XT 16GB from a no-history or no-rating, random-letters-in-the-name seller from who knows where. If you care about it, I have been buying stuff from marketplaces for years already, and I have not once been scammed. Could've been a little expensive or impulsive buys, but not scammed. However, I understand your caution about a site such as Temu.

2/ Amazon ships for Temu: Yes, they do, or at least in the UK. The name is Amazon Shipping. And I believe the packaging or slapping label was performed by the seller, not Amazon, but I cannot verify this. This might also explain your "But Amazon never ships anything without packaging outside." Perhaps because they were not the one to handle the packaging.

3/ The whole "Shipping to the restaurant/Choosing original packaging" and my main complaints: I am living with my relatives in their flat (like an apartment in a building), and I knew they would often not be home at the time of delivery. I knew I would be working at my restaurant at the time of delivery, so I would just be there to receive it. I am not stupid enough to choose "Manufacturer's packaging" for such an item, and I believe there wasn't one on Temu's UI. I use Amazon, so I know about it too. After nearly one year of staying in the UK, all Royal Mail and Amazon delivery people have always walked into the restaurant to leave the package with a staff member or at least on the nearest table to the door. Never had once that it happened like this.

That day was cold, and it rained a little, and the delivery guy might have been pushed by a tight schedule. I genuinely feel sorry for him and hope that delivery persons' working conditions will be improved. However, especially with bare items like this, which are also valuable, I just hope that they would have taken a few more seconds to ensure that it was delivered sensibly, or at least, maybe more secure packaging with another label on the outside. Those were my original post's main points. Peace.

Build/Battlestation My Maxed Out DDR3 Build

My new DDR3 build for around €550!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my new DDR3 PC build. I didn't really need another PC, but I wanted to put together an old-school DDR3 system as an enthusiast project.

I wanted to see how far I could push this older platform while pairing it with a relatively powerful GPU.

Hardware

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K
  • Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Pro4 (Rev. 1.02), UEFI BIOS P2.60
  • RAM: 16 GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 CL11 (4×4 GB)
  • GPU: KFA2 GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB RGB
  • Storage: OSCOO 1 TB SATA SSD
  • CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Black V3
  • PSU: Gigabyte P650G 650 W 80+ Gold, ATX 3.1
  • Case: Noua Nexus P200 White
  • OS: Windows 10 Pro

Overclocking & Memory

  • CPU Core Clock: 4.7 GHz
  • CPU Cache Clock: 4.4 GHz
  • Configured CPU Core Voltage: 1.30 V
  • RAM Frequency: DDR3-2600 CL11

Cooling & Airflow

  • PSU shroud: 1×120 mm ARGB intake
  • Top-right: 1×120 mm ARGB intake
  • Top-left: 1×120 mm ARGB exhaust
  • Rear: 1×120 mm ARGB exhaust
  • CPU Cooling: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Black V3 with ARCTIC MX-7 thermal paste
  • GPU Cooling: KFA2 RTX 2080 SUPER repasted with ARCTIC MX-7 and fitted with new ARCTIC TP-3 thermal pads

All case fans feature ARGB lighting, and the GPU has RGB lighting as well. I went for a white-and-blue aesthetic.

The total cost was around €550 for the entire build.

What do you think? How does this build hold up in your opinion?

News/Article Counted the ray tracing in 262 games: half of PS5 versions cut RT effects the PC version has, and no console game has path tracing

I keep a database of which RT effects games actually ship on each platform (verified, not marketing), and ran the numbers:

  • 52% of PS5 versions (50 of 96 comparable games) drop at least one ray-traced effect the PC version has. Series X is 50%.
  • Path tracing is PC-only. 19 released games have a built-in path tracing mode, and none of their console versions offer it.
  • The most common PC effect is RT reflections (80%). The rarest are refraction and caustics, in single digits.
  • Every game here that uses only software ray tracing is Unreal Engine 5. Everything else needs RT hardware.

Not every game ever made, just the 262 I track, so it's a sample. If I've got a game wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.

No, it does not get hot in here, our central air unit is a beast.

No we are not stinky.

Question I miss open Voice chat in lobbies

Are there any games that actively have people using voice coms. I bounce around a bunch of multiplayer games and they're always silent, feels like they have been since the ps3 xbox 360 era. I know alot of people use discord now. This trend has pushed me more towards single player games over the last decade as they are more engaging to play alone obviously but man do I miss a good late night game session of just shooting the shit and getting some rounds in.

My question is with nothing but dead silent lobbies how do people even meet other gamers to play with that actively talk? Tired of playing games with a podcast or whatever going in the background.

For MP i currently play games like bf6, space marines 2, helldivers 2, world of warships and dabble in some others.

Edit: just remembered hell let loose had a great vocal community, but there isn't much like it i feel.

Fiddled with Optiscaler and FSR mods for a whole day, still got disgusting UI looks and flickering reticle and some ghosting in some specific backgrounds. The new driver update and official FSR 4 support fixed the issues.

Discussion Insane cost per GB

Got all these at thrift stores. The short DVD case is 25 8.5gb dvds for 1.99, the stack of 25 Blu-ray discs on the right was 2.99, the stack of CDs in the back was 4.99, and the stack on the left are also CDs.

I've already used a few discs to free up long-term space on my SSDs and HDDs.

Discussion Does anyone remember going from dialup to high speed internet?

I remember going from 56k to 3megabit roadrunner cable in 1999. Blew my mind. It felt like the internet was wide open. I remember seeing the speeds that the browser was opening up web pages. Crazy fast! I came from a 2400buad modem in 1993. By far the biggest noticeable upgrade in tech for me.
