Looking for helpers to bring r/NorthKorean back to life!

It is an old sub I created a few years back but with good potential.

We are a sub focused on obscure media from the DPRK!

If anyone has interest in North Korean cartoons, politics, news, movies, or basically anything and everything DPRK related, r/NorthKorean is where it's at!

I need moderators who are willing to find content worthy of posting. It isn't always an easy task hunting down the rarest footage straight from the source since we are talking about the "Hermit Kingdom", but all I ask is to do your best in growing the sub, keeping people at peace and following sub rules, and simply having a good time.

Feel free to join me over in r/NorthKorean

Hello!

r/askteddit is a Q&A sub similar to askreddit. Originally created over a decade ago as a bit of a joke, but has since grown in popularity. We are looking to add several new users to our mod team to help us sustain a healthy sense of community, and keep our discussions fun and engaging.

Some qualifications we're looking for:

• Fluency in English
• Thoughtful when making moderation decisions
• Availability to check modmail and mod queues at least 10-20 minutes throughout the day
• Some history on reddit (account age, some karma) - post/comment history in r/askteddit a plus, but not required

If you are interested, we would love to hear from you. Please use this link to apply.

I recently just became a mod after r/AssasinationClassroom had a major issue with spambots advertising soccer websites instead of talking about the actual franchise, so I'd like some extra hands to help manage it. Otherwise it's a pretty inactive community, so it'll be low maintenance and means anyone with good intentions could be a good mod there.

Only requirement you'll need to be mod is to not be a brand new account, and naming your fav character to confirm you're familiar (There's no wrong answers with it). Not picky with who can be mod, so as long as you're a fan of the manga/anime you'll be good on the team.

Hey there! We’re currently looking for a moderator for r/iosapps. Our requirements:

- Established presence on Reddit (karma, account age...)

- Fluency in English

- Mature and thoughtful when making big decisions

- Availability to check the mod queue and modmail for approximately 15–20 minutes throughout the day

- Familiarity with iOS, Apple, and apps.

If you meet these requirements, we’d love for you to submit an application! Please do so through the this link. Thank you!

p.s. the first three months of moderating are provisional, so changing your mind isn't a problem.

p.p.s. if you're application is AI generated, it's an automatic no for us.

I need another mod for this sub which has recently become a lot busier.

It is /r/Cheeseburger - pretty self-explanatory.

Just leave a comment here to apply.

Hey everyone!

We’re looking for a few new moderators to join the team at r/HistorySnap, a community dedicated to appreciating powerful snapshots that capture moments from history.

Our subreddit has recently seen a big surge in activity and has made it into the top 100 history subreddits! With the community continuing to grow, we’re looking to bring on a few more moderators to help us keep things running smoothly.

We’re mainly looking for people who have a genuine passion for history, enjoy the subreddit as it currently is, and want to help it continue growing. Ideally, we’d like moderators who are willing to be active members of the community themselves, whether that’s occasionally posting historical photographs or participating in discussions.

Previous moderation experience is a plus, but definitely not required. We’re much more interested in finding people who genuinely enjoy the community and want to contribute to it and keep it healthy.

If you’re interested, please fill out our application here: https://www.reddit.com/r/HistorySnap/application/

Thanks!

I’m currently the sole moderator of r/FurAI, and as the subreddit grows I’d like to bring on a few reliable people to help keep things running smoothly.

This is an active moderation role, not just a badge. I’m looking for people who understand FurAI’s rules and can enforce them fairly and consistently.

You should be able to:

• Judge posts by the rules, not personal preference
• Handle NSFW, spam, harassment, promotion, and low-effort content appropriately
• Distinguish criticism from trolling or bad-faith disruption
• Stay calm and professional during disagreements
• Use moderator discretion carefully
• Ask when a situation is unclear rather than acting impulsively

Previous moderation experience is helpful, but not required. Good judgment, maturity, consistency, and familiarity with FurAI matter more.

If you’re interested, send me a short application with:

• Why you want to moderate
• How active you are
• Any previous experience
• Your understanding of FurAI and its rules

I may also give applicants a few example moderation scenarios.

Please only apply if you genuinely want to help maintain and grow the community.

I would like some help in [r/icecream](r/icecream). Preferably someone who got 2FA. No experience needed. Mainly looking for someone who can help clearing the mod queue.

(The subreddit has an application form, you DO NOT have to fill it in. It has been there for months, and I haven’t been successful getting mods that way).

Hi. 5 years on Reddit. Cqs:highest. Verified account. 2.7 Karma. Located in CST. 1.5 contributions. Active in 112 subs. Never been a mod before but I’m very interested. I’m an level headed fair person that has respect for the rules and would like the chance to grow a sub

Hi!

I am the current owner of [r/SAKTKIA51](r/SAKTKIA51), and we are seeking for new moderators to help moderate this sub. Right now, I am the only mod and the owner because the previous one gave me the role. There are technically a few moderators, though those are inactive.

The topic is about the Roblox game Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51. There are some active members, others are not. Some people post onto this sub for for example help about the game etc.

I look for 1-2 passionate moderators looking to help moderate this sub. Those do not need to be regular players, but understanding the game and the Roblox platform is a bonus. It's a pretty easy game, it isn't hard to understand. If you want to help moderate, reach out via modmail and we will get back ASAP!

hello, i'm u/hav_ana, currently a mod for r/teenreader. i'm still a new mod, but i'd love to mod in more. i have experience with all the basic tasks, and am very willing to learn more. would prefer education or school or teen related subs but all are welcome.

I currently moderate both [r/FindTheSniper](r/FindTheSniper) (800k members 80k or so WAUs iirc) and [r/Pareidolia](r/Pareidolia) (1.2m 100k+ WAUs)

[r/Bli](r/BlimdboyPodcast)[n](r/BlimdboyPodcast)[dboyPodcast](r/BlimdboyPodcast) is looking for mods that ideally listen to the podcast and have previous modding experience

r/Gemma4 is looking for moderators who will help mod and grow the Gemma4. Experience is required with AI related discourse as well as engagement. Thank you!

r/AusNews is a subreddit dedicated to Australian News, with about 14,400 members.

Prefer people with good knowledge of Australian current affairs and politics.

Also looking for somebody to set up the AutoModerator. I have no idea how to do it.

The sub has been inactive for a number of years, but has recently been reactivated.

we’re looking for someone who’s active, fair, levelheaded, and interested in helping keep our community a safe and welcoming space. previous mod experience is a plus, but not required.

if you’re interested, please apply here.

As the name says r/youngpeopledeviantart is another youngpeople subreddit with 15,000 members, almost every mod on the subreddit left or is inactive. The people on the subreddit are more on the high-functioning part of the autism spectrum.

YOU MUST BE:

• 18 YEARS OR OLDER.
• MODERATE AT LEAST 1 SUBREDDIT WITH OVER 25 MEMBERS.
• MUST NOT MODERATE NSFW SUBREDDITS (most people on it are under 18)

Thats it.

Hello everyone~

I spend a good amount of time on reddit and have a little prior moderation experience. I'm still learning, though and would be more than happy to expand my knowledge and learn from more experienced mods

A little bit about my account:

• 41k+ karma
• 3.3k+ contributions
• 4 year old account
• 2FA enabled
• Verified email

Timezone: IST (UTC+5:30)

As for moderating, I'd mainly be able to help keep the subreddit clean by removing spam, NSFW content, hate speech and irrelevant posts. I'm also happy to help manage modmail (yes, including dealing with difficult users) and handle other basic moderation tasks as needed

I'm open to feedback, willing to learn and happy to work alongside the existing mod team to help keep the community safe and well maintained

If that's something you're comfortable with, I'd love to help moderate your subreddit alongside you and the rest of the team!

Cheers!

I have a lot of free time and I wish to help a reddit community be larger and more active.

I am 11 months old in my reddit account but I have 8.1 karma.

I dont have much to do so I am usually online

r/AskJapan

Need Japanese mods. DM me.

r/dwts is an entertainment subreddit about the show Dancing With The Stars with about 5,400 members and 108,000 visitors and about 3 million views. It's Dancing With The Stars season and we are seeing a lot of activity. We use automation and auto enforce.

What you'd do:

Work the mod queue and remove posts with spoilers in titles or posts that break the rules, rule-breaking comments, citing the rule each time.

Help weed out and ban bots, trolls, rude and unkind posters and other bad intentioned posters.

What we are looking for:

Someone is already a moderator, preferably similar size or larger subreddit.

If someone has experience moderating a TV show that would be great, but not required.

A calm and cool head. People who make rude posts will send rude ModMails. We try to be brief in responses and circle back to the rules rather than get into big arguments with those who are upset about Mod actions.

If you would like to apply please fill out the application here: https://www.reddit.com/r/dwts/application/

Please either message me or leave a comment in this thread to let me know you found the application on this subreddit and are interested.

We will review all the applications. Thank you for reading!

Hiiiii y'all, I am looking to join a mod team and help out a community. I have been on Reddit for a year now and hang out in a lot of different subs, so I know a thing or two about how Reddit works and how to deal with different kinds of users. I am a beginner mod and started my own sub 3 weeks ago, so I already know how to use the Mod Queue, AutoMod, flairs, and other mod tools.

I am polite, patient, and fair when talking to people or handling Modmail. I am available all day and active for about 4 hours daily, so I can easily keep an eye on things. Thanks! ✌🏻

I won't just help you manage and clear the mod queues but help to actually grow the subreddit..

Hi all,

I'm hoping to find a mod team willing to take on a trainee. I've never moderated before, and I'd rather learn it properly from people who know what they're doing than figure it out alone.

What I'm asking for: a chance to shadow your team for a few weeks. Start me with limited permissions (or none at all), let me watch how you handle the queue, reports, and modmail, and I'll ask questions as I go. Once you're comfortable with my judgment, I'm happy to take on whatever grunt work you need.

About me:

7-year-old account, 2FA on, verified email

Business owner, about 25 years in construction

Based in Florida, usually online mornings and evenings ET

Reliable, take feedback well, and won't go rogue with permissions

What I want to learn:

Mod queue and removal reasons

AutoModerator basics

Handling modmail and difficult users

I'd especially like SFW subs in construction, home building, home improvement, Florida/local communities, or hockey, but I'm open to anything that's a good fit.

If your team has room for a trainee, comment or DM me. Thanks!
