I just wanted a hot dog My new reality

Post image

I have IBS and therefore have to severly limit my diet. Mind you half the stuff on this list is food I really enjoy eating, or is virtually included in everything 🙃 the universe said you WILL eat that boiled chicken and rice and you WILL LIKE IT

I won't try to minimize how much this sucks, but there are still lots of delicious foods you can eat! Vegan meat substitutes have got so much better in the last decade and are actually delicious in their own right. And even non dairy "cheese" has become more than acceptable, if missing out on cheese is your biggest thing.

Also, rotisserie chicken is gonna be your easy savior.  Sounds like you can still make chicken and rice bowls and you can do that a million different easy ways.

I have alot of digestive issues and love vegetarian meat options. I recently went through a digestive flareup. I could basically eat/drink only broth, pears or peaches/nectarines, and peeled cucumbers without issues. I ate Hummus and peanut butter with some bloating and discomfort but nothing else. It's very invasive in someone's life to have to think about what you're going to eat everyday.
