I'm slightly vexed Taxi driver wearing noise cancelling headphones while driving in the city

Look I’m PMSing so I’m admittedly in a very nit picky time of my life. But. Don’t love weaving in and out of traffic in a major city while the taxi driver has noice cancelling headphones on. The sound is loud enough I can hear whatever (moderately funny) comedy show he’s listening to in the backseat. This is ill advised, yes?

ETA thanks to everyone who taught me about transparent mode today :)

ETA2 : Okay, I’m the asshole, comments have shown me there’s lots that could be going on with the driver to make him need to use these and there’s way he could do so safely. Mea culpa. That’ll teach me to knee jerk react.

I once had a kid in HS tell me to never drink vodka redbulls cuz it will mess up your heart. He was already staying in a firehouse and was literally a firemen somehow, built like a brick shithouse so it explained the early bird status.

One day I saw him pull up to a red light next to me, with both earbuds in. And that always stuck with me

This is like my good friend who like, will not eat sugar or processed food or allow anything “toxic” in her home, but regularly does cocaine of questionable provenance.

If she had the choice of ethically produced and environmentally friendly nasal products, she'd be bang on it though! It's a global market problem, not her hypocrisy to be judged.

1,000% and she married into an incredibly wealthy family, so if there was such a thing as single origin coke, she could afford it.

I had a friend in my 20’s die the first time they tried coke because it was laced with fent and I’ll never touch the stuff. Supply chain is too scary. Plus I’d like it way too much.
