SO the issue here is that the AI detection services are incredibly inaccurate. At this point, unless it is very obvious, we are in a position where we are bent over on our knees and they can pretty much do whatever they want. Shit's fucked, yo

SynthID is different. It detects OpenAI/Gemini watermarks. 100% definitive proof

you’re saying synthid has something over ps5 security? lmao

And if there is no watermark present? And if the image has been edited and copied to remove metadata? Still 100%?

No, synthid is not inside the meta data and you can also compress, modify it but synthid is still there

And the tools that exist to disrupt or strip away the imbedded frequencies? They're accessible to anyone who wants to use them, if you want to keep going, we can

The overlap of people posting aislop and the people willing to take the time to strip an ai watermark from aislop is much much smaller than you think.

I'm aware that the vast majority of slop feeders will not do this, but when someone wants it to come off as legitimate, there are 100% tools available to disrupt the imbedded frequencies. You can access them right now

There can be a false negative but not a false positive...

Tell that to the agents used to detect AI use in text where none is present, hell, it's a main feature in Grammarly and has given PLENTY of false positives

That's the good part, it's hard to impossible to edit out the synthid

There are dozens if not hundreds of easily accessible tools to remove synthid, a quick google will give you a plethora of them

I meant like with traditional editing, but yes, that's true

Yeah, regular editing and everything is apparently not the simple workaround I initially thought. Soon, we are truly going to be fucked

no, SynthID is accurate 100% of the time

Sure, unless you use a free and easily accessible tool to disrupt the id, then that percentage plummets. Tell me I'm wrong and I'll point you to google where you can find any umber of tools to use for that very thing

Guess they still make the same German soldier toy despite it being impossible to find the modern bright green version now and the only difference is that they made the barrel longer?

Thinking is free.
