Is this movie any good?
84 u/Dont-be-a-smurf 10h ago It’s a one woman show, really. It isn’t the most original movie in the world, but the main actress (pictured) does an amazing job being completely fucking unhinged. Specifically her ability to go from normal to unhinged to normal to unhinged so effortlessly. Also, there’s a lot of conventional makeup work to make some very “uncanny” looking shots that are impressive. If you like horror it’s 100% worth watching. 48 u/i4got872 9h ago Why do people keep saying this? The script is good and creates all this interesting subtext constantly. I think that’s the main reason it worked. 14 u/SharpDrink2724 9h ago Armchair movie critics always feel the need to say something along the lines of "the plot wasn't great but ..." I guess it makes them feel more cultured or like they have a more nuanced take. 6 u/TechnicallyRudoYooo 7h ago 100%. The ending was creative as fuck 1 u/OG_Felwinter 5h ago Or they just didn’t like the movie and are trying to articulate that while still giving it props for the things it did well. Would them saying they didn’t like anything about the movie actually make you appreciate their opinion more?
