DISCUSSION Any Devs who could take over?

So the news is a huge kick in the balls. Is that truly it then or would there be any chance EA could sell the IP? Honestly coudnt see it going to CD Project or Bethesda. Dk if there's anyone else who could take over ot will EA just let the franchise rot out of spite?

No. Game devs mostly wanna work on a universe they invent. Even if they love Mass Effect, they want their own.

Nah, it's SUPER common for a developer to want to make a game that isn't their IP. BG3, Fallout 3, Max Payne 3 are some major examples. That's not even counting games based off of existing movie/book franchises.
