We knew this was bound to happen, so sad we might never see another ME game. But to be honest it’s probably for the best. They would never live up to the original trilogy. At least we got the LE for its final send off.

its weird to me because i swear i feel like mass effect could generate a lot of money if they took their time on it. but thats what i think is wrong with the gaming industry barely anyone wants to take the time to make a good game and rather make a quick buck.

They either want a quick buck or the next Fortnight or GTA that they can milk for billions.

There's no interest at the "AAA" studios in making games that are just a brilliant single player game.

Except Zero company, BG3, Jedi survivor, Cyberpunk 2077, Rogue Trader, the list could go on. There's billions to be made.

AAA single player games undoubtedly make money, but it's nowhere near what a successfully F2P multiplayer title generates in a single year, and those do it every year, not just once.

They are chasing a golden goose. Trouble is, most of them can't run.

There's also only a limited market for such games. You either have the golden goose, or you're one of the dozens of failed attempts to grab it.
