Here's my knife collection from when I was still drinking and drugging. Around 8 months ago I ended up in a crazy situation due to the drugs I was using and managed to get robbed at gunpoint for just about everything I owned. Had been into knives for a while at that time, and had a small collection. This popped up in my memory photos- I sort of forgot how many I had. This is missing a few but has most of them. Only knife I still have is the Ultratech, it was being repaired at the time.
I’m getting back into knives, what’s next? I was never super impressed with my Microtech, so I’m thinking of grabbing a Kershaw Livewire or a Guardian Tactical Recon. Also had my eyes on a Pro-Tech Godfather or Benchmade Lowden. What do you guys think should be next?

I’m looking for recommendations for a durable knife. One that can take a beating, won’t break and won’t break the pockets. I know that’s a lot to ask. Recommendations with links would be amazing. I work as a line hand so I cut a lot of different materials.
As for fixed blades, it would be ok but I would prefer a folding pocket knife.
Budget would be around $200 and lower.

Stonewash has got to be my favourite blade finish. Absolutely love how it looks, how about you?

My Hawk Talon arrived today. Beautiful Engineering and a very unique feel. Packaging is very simple. Only thing included is the proprietary Tool and a lip balm😂

Demko AD-15,
After some research and scouring the internet, it may just be impossible to get one these days… my only possible option would be to mill out titanium parts for the production cold steel model. Maybe I will take that challenge one day.
Let me know what knives you guys would love to see again! Maybe some photos too if you don’t mind.

Cheating on my Spydercos today. I ordered this Benchmade Custom Osborne 940 in CF and Magnacut quite some time ago and never really took to it. Just didn't like the skinny form factor and funky blade shape.
But... the way most people gush over it... I decided to carry it more to see if it grew on me, and I have to admit it's starting to. A little bit, at least. By far the smoothest Axis Lock I have, and pretty fidgety.

My first protech. 20CV Mordax. Picked this badass piece up for $180!! Won't be my last protech. The fit and finish on this things in absolutely spectacular. It's been heard getting this thing outta my hand! Gonna be pocketing this thing around for a while I can tell lol.
Aluminum handles, acid wash 20CV blade.
Anyone on the fence about protech, don't be. It's worth it! Granted I got this for a steal on account of being tight with the store owner here locally. But nonetheless!

Picked up both of these on pretty steep discount recently and they’re both finally starting to get that good washers action. The Stovepipe is surprisingly fun and handy for such a tiny chonk, I’ve really been enjoying it.

I like a full size, my daily carry is a case C61050(a coke bottle knife), which is a hair under 6 inches when closed. I carry that unless I am going somewhere with a length restriction.
The main reason I like that size is because it’s really easy to find in my pocket, I don’t have to dig around for it like I would a smaller knife. Wherever I put it, it usually stays right there and doesn’t shift around at all.

Figured it's time to restart rotating knives in the collection, and today, the Soothsayer is it. Happy Wednesday.
