As a former police K9 handler of two dogs over 15 years I can assure you this handler is an absolute idiot. You never let your dog off leash anywhere there are potential injury hazards.

I’ve never once seen a police dog off leash on any roadway stop, let alone a highway or overpass. This is entirely on the human, and it’s despicable.

They also revealed this is their first bomb dog BUT that “the officer did everything by standard procedure”. What complete horseshit

They may not be lying about him following procedure. The procedure might just be useless or nonexistent. :x
