Here's the cliff if anyone wants to see it. The park is that green grass on the left.

I’m not an expert…but that seems like a poor place for a dog park. But goddamn that’s gorgeous!

Edit: Guys I can’t read real well

I don't think it's a dog park, just a regular park where dogs aren't banned

… the sign sort of says dogs are banned though when it says put your dog back in the car?

That's not quite a ban, more of an advisory. If dogs were banned it would probably just say no dogs allowed and maybe have like an amount you can be fined or something

They might have other signs banning them, but just like at national parks that say dogs MUST be on leashes, but people take FiFi off her leash to get picture on the cool rock and WHOOPS there she goes flying off in an eagle’s talons about to get dropped to her death, sometimes you also need bonus signs to remind the dog people that the rules were there for a reason, and your dog might die if you ignore it. It sucks, but so many of them really do think their dog is the exception till it gets dead.

People walk their dogs in park and you want to ban that?

Most parks don’t have random 100ft drops off a blind cliff face. Perhaps if there was a random landscape hazard that would kill dogs for doing regular dog activities (jumping over barriers) in a park dogs should be banned for their safety. Same way we’d ban tourists from a place with dangerous levels of radiation or landmines.

Unleashed dogs are fineable everywhere. What's the point of banning leashed dogs?

Unleashed dog owners are more than welcome to jump the fence, preferably after ensuring their pets are cared for if they should unexpectedly die by jumping off a cliff

Did you not even read my original comment? You know, the one about preventing dogs from jumping off cliffs?
