I love dogs, but a dog gets an emergency medical helicopter response paid for by my tax dollars for a broken leg and me and all my friends can’t get basic healthcare for anything? Weird society.

I think the problem isn't that the dog got help, but rather that humans do not.

I presume that’s the point they were making? I don’t think their point was “fuck that dog, it can suffer like my friends and I do”, I would like to hope that it was obviously “why is this right of healthcare not also afforded to human beings?”

No, a fucking dog getting airlifted after deciding to jump off an overpass is definitely a problem.

Let’s assume medical funding and staff are limited resources, which they are.

And ignoring the fact that they too could get airlifted if they leapt off an overpass and broke two legs. I wouldn’t recommend it though.

It’s pretty fn absurd to airlift a dog
