When he's cuddling Bruno on the road... :(Ā

You can tell by his body language he's devastated. He loves Bruno so much.Ā

I cried seeing the footage of the dog on the highway. He must have been so confused and scared.

I live in Utah and I recognize the emergency vet they're walking out of at the end. I'm going there later this week to drop off my cat for an oncology appointment. Gonna have to go snuggle all my cats now...

I know! Poor pup, I'm glad he didn't get worse injuries. Most of the comments are griping about taxes but hell, it's my taxpayer money that's being used since I also live in Utah, and I'm so happy this dog was able to get fixed up. Rather it go to this than other crap they're doing.

Big agree, I get being pissed off that a dog is getting better healthcare than humans, but the solution to that is better healthcare for humans... which is absolutely on the table, if they'd try voting blue 😭

I'm happy my tax dollars went to fixing up this pup. Hopefully they changed processes to keep working dogs on leashes, unless their job duties require otherwise. This shouldn't have ever happened, but since it did, yes let's get medical care for the poor innocent pupper!

I stopped watching as the car pulled up to the dog. Fuck. Reading the dog broke two legs. As I'm sitting here next to my elderly dog

Feels absolutely criminal that they included that shot 😭 If it helps, the officer that let it happen looks absolutely crushed about it, as he should. And they showed the shot of pupper walking out of the ER in his casts, and said that he was able to go home for recovery. So it turned out well enough, just wish it hadn't happened and that they didn't show it on the road in pain...

I was picking my dog up from her chemo from there last Wednesday, and Bruno was in the waiting room. When I sat down he came up to me. I asked if I could say hi and (who I now know) his handler said yes. Derply lil guy sniffed my hand and gave it a few kisses. I looked at him and was like "Why are you in big old booties bud?" He didn't answer, lol. The next day they posted an article/video about him, and I found out I met a famous lil dude. I get all the comments about inequality in healthcare, but I'm glad they didn't just put him down. It's not the puppy's fault that cops suck. (And Bruno is def a puppy, he's young. Can't be older than a year).

Aww baby 😭 Yeah, he looked so young in this video. So heartbreaking that this happened, but very glad he got the care he needed. Best of luck for your doggo too, cancer sucks.

Everyone is complaining about the medical response and I’m tearing up at the sight of his little broken legs. Having too much empathy is exhausting sometimes
