The fact that this mixed bag of candy only has pink starbursts

My father is really great, he was playing piano...
It's just something small, but it made me really happy. My dad was playing piano and I went over and told him about the meteor shower that's happening soon, in was like "there's gonna be a meteor shower tonight" and he responded with "not if I can stop it!" 😂 I just thought it was really funny idk why.

Got a unexpected hug from a cute little girl on random day.
Hi Everyone
A bit about me i am 29f getting closer to 30.
I just function because I have to, the cycle is wake up get ready for work that start at 4 work until 1:30, scroll till 4 sleep then repeat.
Yes I missed eating because that is what I skip in the evening.
I am not sure what stage of life I am right now.
I am lost, but then I am lost since very long I guess this is the acceptance stage where whatever I am today is me.
I try to be happy by doing random stuff being loudest in the room and hyping everyone but i know their is void now everyone has that.
I was just moving with life, keeping myself busy because I wish to get married but got heart broken many times also now I have lost all hope and slowly learning to self love.
Being honest self love is hard when you have been habitual to external validation.
I was just on the path I will handle thing will manage alone eventually everybody leaves so I have to be independent and I need nothing.
Then navaratri started I love the festival went played like crazy but I was still not able to understand what I was feeling.
I went to shopping with my cousin on Saturday, and when we were done I was tired so I just sat on the staircase zone out.
A little girl came she waved her hand and said hii didi, i had a smile on my face.
Then she hugged me & also kissed on my cheeks. Then she went ahead with her mother.
Her mother an sister were laughing, did I know her no, i was blank i was smiling like a little kid it was random unexpected.
But this what was all I needed this long I hold back my tears but at night I cried I cried like anything my heart which was block as if it was the door were knocked down.
I will think about it in later life that this happened to me and I feel grateful and lucky to experience this🧿🧿♥️♥️
I think universe do see us and unexpectedly it also ensure we are taken care of.
With these I am also open to people sharing similar story or encounter like this

Had an interview today and it went well, very happy!! :3
I applied to my local HT for a seasonal job since my part time isn't the best with hours sometimes and they wanted an interview today!! I've done two or three job interviews before so I kinda knew what I was expecting, but still.
Im 19 and have adhd + super bad anxiety so it's hard for my brain to think rationally sometimes, but it all went super duper well!!! They said I had a good vibe and we got along really well, and they asked for my number for hopefully a follow up thing on Thursday! It took a lot to actually apply in the first place so I'm just so happy it all worked out.
A bit nervous for the two jobs + art school combo BUT I know I can do it! I'm just really happy right now :3

I finished my whole syllabus before midterms and I feel so relieved
I just wanted to share something that made my day today.
My midterm exams are still a few weeks away, but I have already covered my entire syllabus once. Every subject, every chapter, all the way to the end. Tonight I closed my notebook and realized I was done with the first round, and I honestly felt a huge weight come off my shoulders.
I know I'm not completely finished. I still have to revise, practice and fix the things I forgot. But the hardest part is behind me, and that feels amazing.
What I'm most happy about is how different this feels from other times. Usually I leave things until the last few days. I sit up late, panic over chapters I have barely seen and walk into the exam hall with a racing heart. This time I won't have to do that. Now when I revise, I'll be going over things I already know instead of learning them from scratch in a rush.
I think I'm going to sleep really well tonight.
If you have exams coming up, even a small start today will thank you later. Future you really does appreciate it.
Wishing everyone good luck with their studies!

The little things are the reason I love life despite mental and physical pain i go through
I just moved into a new apt and have no food. And I just had a hysteroscopy d&c and an iud implant five days ago. Not only has it been a hard year but a hard ass week. From a five year long straight heavy period, anemia, chronic illness, mental health issues, severe depression, SEVERE HEALTH ANXIETY, hospital and er visits to ambulances and doctors apts, my dog dying, my mother getting stage 1 carcinoma (thank the universe it’s only stage 1), regardless of all that i somehow love life everyday even though it’s painful. Today was another painful day but something great happened. I walked to the gas station in front of my apt and got me some snacks! Walking anything longer than across the house or right outside is a big deal for me. Not only that but I did it on my own. Even more shocking only five days post op! I’m doing things on my own more and more and I love it so much. I’m 27 and i should’ve been able to for a long time but I’ve always needed physical help and support but it’s small wins like this that make me so happy. I got all this for $6!
Also I’m sorry if the beginning is unnecessary I just need to rant and give backstory as to why something so small if so important to me

I've been doing this for years. Here's my most recent batch. I clear coat to weather proof them as well. I hope they all find nice homes.

I painted a joyful wedding scene inspired by Marc Chagall 🎨
After a period of depression, I just wanted to paint something joyful — a wedding scene inspired by Marc Chagall’s dreamlike world of love, colors, happiness, tenderness, and celebration.

Have you ever felt a deep sense of joy from within, and is there anything you do that gets you into a state of flow, where you become so immersed in it that you completely lose track of time and forget everything around you?

I was so happy to hear positive things about my outfit.
Last night I posted for first time my whole body and face as I was going to meet some friends. I was scared to be honest. Judging can be harsh. I was so happy that I come out of my shell and went for walk after dinner and found a little friend. I sit by the water for while and just thinking I haven't been this happy in a long time. Being nice is free and I wonder why can't we all just get along.

After over two years of missing half an eyebrow due to alopecia areata (and shaving the other one to match), it's finally growing back!
The eyebrow in my left is the one that was effected by the alopecia ☺️ Picture is not mirrored!

Nothing big happened, but I m genuinely happy right now
No big news or achievements, just a quiet kind of happy. There are no assignments or presentations hanging over me, no papers coming up, and midterms still feel far away. For the first time in a while, I m not carrying any study pressure. Money-wise I m okay too, and I don't have to worry about that right now.
We also have a get-together tomorrow, and I m really looking forward to it.
Its not a huge, exciting thing. Its just a normal life that feels peaceful, and I m happy with that. Sometimes I think we forget to appreciate days like these, so I wanted to notice it while its here.
Hope you are having a good day too.

Visited Colorado and found it in a gift shop, it’s so adorable I love it so much . Prairie dogs are so cute- too bad they carry so many diseases. This is my lifelong dog, I hope to have this until I’m like old.

I returned home after being gone 10+ years and living chronically depressed.
Smiling felt really nice and I truly needed that. There are people out there who care for you. I care for you and I love you. I believe in you.

Someone said they enjoyed talking to me today!
!!!
in bed rn just thinking about it. so met a guy i work with but we never really cross paths much since hes always in a different section. today we had the same shift and finally got to talk and he seems real nice and chill. spoke about all sorts from other people to life to goals and dreams. really really nice guy and polite .
anyway, as i finished work i walked out quietly as i do ( everyone else has their friends/family pick them up except me so i got used to just quickly walking away to not feel like such an anomaly) and was walking by myself out he comes up to me unexpectedly despite him leaving office later than me, he caught up to me and says he had a lot of fun talking to me today and hopes we'll work together again soon, before leaving.
i immediately went awwww you too see you soon cause i felt SO MUSHY being told that. aw man. like fr? u enjoyed talking to me? like Actually??! man that is awesome i am so glad someone enjoyed bein around me!!!
i hardly ever recieve any kind of praise/affection. its been hours andim still thinking about it smiling to myself 🥹
Mike Malott was ALL SMILES after seeing his brother & friends reaction to his knockout over Joaquin Buckley at UFC Edmonton 🥹❤️🩹

A fun fact about Mike Malott: He donated his $10,000 show purse from his UFC 273 debut win against Mickey Gall in April 2022 to support Angie Rodriguez, the 15-year-old daughter of his Team Alpha Male coach Joey Rodriguez Jr., who was battling stage 3 lymphoma.
