Venting I absolutely HATE the narrative that a woman committing a crime ‘sets women back hundreds of years’

Because there is absolutely NOTHING that men could do that would make society go ‘this is setting men back’, ‘men should lose the right to vote’, etc. Committing 99% of rapes? Not all men. Being over 95% of family annihilators? They’re individuals, you can’t judge all men for the actions of a few.

Society would never even dream of taking men’s rights away, because men’s rights aren’t negotiable. Doesn’t matter if 99% of men woke up tomorrow and decided to commit mass murder, they’re still deserving of rights.

Imagine if women were the ones who committed 98% of mass shootings, for example. It wouldn’t even be a question to these misogynists that all women should lose access to firearms and be stripped of their rights immediately. But as always, because mass shooters are pretty much always male, they’re treated as individuals, not as a representative of their entire gender.

This goes for literally every crime in existence. A man commits a horrific act? Not all men. A woman commits a horrific act? ALL women are evil and can’t be trusted. We’re seeing this being played out with Lindsay Clancy. Apparently women are no longer safe to be around children. Let’s just ignore the fact that men make up 80% of child killers. They don’t even try to hide their hypocrisy anymore, it’s exhausting.

Thought Daughter💭 Men dont have critical thinking skills and this "gender war" is proof

I literally cannot open reddit without some post about men dismissing womens opinions and experiences popping up, I dont interact with them but they keep showing up. But this has me thinking about the wider lense in which general stances are taken.

Most men on reddit and honestly all socials only think misandry is bad cause thats the most popular immediate stance that all commenters take. Like theyre so damn dismissive of the issue or are like "both sides are hateful!!" and because they don't take more than two seconds to think and consider the actual nuance of womens anger and pain, they have the most basic bitch level 1 morality answer of "Neither gender should hate on the other!" 🙄

Of course its cause theyre narcassistic by nature and think theyre good people. But also its such sheep mentality! I swear if tomorrow more men were suddenly 'supporting' or 'condoning' misandry or literally just validating a womans opinion, all the other men would follow suit.

Also another thing to add kind of unrelated, why are all the questions on askreddit or similar subs about "Women, what do men do that surprised you?" or "Women, whats something your partners did that made you realize you live in different worlds". Obviously i made these questions myself but the questions i see always center men and try to like validate them and be like "see how hard men have it?!". Its soooo corny and cringey good lord.

Hot Take Men’s “always shoot your shot” philosophy is built on their entitlement to women.

I am not secretive about currently being in a relationship (or my distaste of men hitting on women anywhere they can) but I still get messages from men (not just on Reddit) of them shooting their shot, and a few memorable occasions of them writing like…love letters, basically?

After spending some time asking them why they’ve hit on me, what motivated them to do it on a not dating platform (Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, etc.) I’ve come to the conclusion that they feel entitled to the time and attention of women they find attractive. Some men have told me when they’re out and about and they see an attractive woman, they shoot their shot because “well she’s hot.” Others have mentioned they see an attractive woman and envision themselves married to her or in a serious relationship, which I don’t think is weird in and of itself, but that doesn’t need to be followed up with trying to get that woman’s number.

They just don’t care to stop and think “is this an appropriate time to approach someone? Does the woman in question look busy, scared, stressed, angry, etc.?” A hot woman exists for them to look at, dream about being with, and for them to hit on. And if you say no? I’ve gotten everything from “give me a chance” to “your boyfriend doesn’t have to know”. My comfort, my desires, and my happiness are irrelevant to men once they’ve decided that they want to be with me.

The worst part is that they have nothing to justify acting this way but they still do it because they also feel entitled to 1) being in a romantic relationship and 2) being with a hot, put together, fit woman. They think their interest is reason enough to bother women and it seriously concerns me that they think that’s a good enough justification to disregard a woman’s safety and comfort.

Reality Check It’s not a crime for women to swipe on men they find attractive on dating apps

I thought about posting this on r/Bumble or any dating subreddit but I realized they’re so inundated with inc*ls and redpilled dudes id rather just post here.

Anyways! It is absolutely not a crime for a woman to swipe on a man she finds attractive and i’m tired of all these redpilled dudes acting like it’s the worst thing in the world.

I’m not on dating apps anymore but when I was it really wasn’t all that great. Sure I received tons of likes from men who obviously didn’t read my profile or were just way too ugly for me.

For context: I live in one of the most popular states in a college town. I’m picky about who I swipe on so obvi i’m not swiping on “the 6’5 chads” with no substance or bio on their profiles but incels can’t comprehend that. I would swipe for hours before I could even find a viable, decent match that I thought was attractive and interesting. That’s like 1-2 yes’s out of 100-200 no’s.

Also it’s true… there really isn’t a lot of attractive men on dating apps, even the average-mid men felt like far and few between.

I don’t care if the incels come across this post because it needs to be said… 95% of the men on dating apps are truly just NOT attractive and that’s the reality of the situation. 4% are the mid-average guys which are like cuties, adorable, and the 2% are the handsome super attractive dudes.

Also can they stop acting like women are shallow for actually wanting to be attracted to the a potential romantic interest? Men are the most shallow entitled people I know and we all know this. He could be an absolute troglodyte and expect a 10/10 bombshell to match with him which is crazy then they get mad and complain on reddit when they get no matches because that’s all they swipe on.

If all men want a 10/10 bombshell, beautiful partner women are allowed to want that for themselves too. Doesn’t even have to be a 10/10 handsome, chad looking dude there just needs to be that baseline attraction.

Also most guys profiles absolutely suck!! If you’re going to be hideous on OLD and put in no effort towards your pix or bio or convos you have to up your game my guy…

Unfortunately that’s just the way the world works… would you wanna be with someone who isn’t interested in you physically? Because I wouldn’t and I would feel horrible if I had to front like that.

Discussion For when men "but we're the oppressed ones"

I'm getting so tired of men coming in claiming they're just as oppressed as women, or that somehow women being mean* to them is just as bad as anything women experience, or women deserve what men do to us for being mean*.

So I've put together a few simple graphs from publicly available data that make it clear that what we fear from men is not equivalent to what they fear from us.

The first graph is across all adults and basically shows the story, we all know who's doing what. The other two are separate for men and women's stats and fears.

* Telling them we don't like the terrible things they do to us, and to please stop doing them, and oh ffs will you please leave me alone.

Venting Men are never lonely enough

I have a friend who is in a kind of situationship with a guy. A week ago, I saw a post about a femicide. The girl was just 18 and got brutally murdered by her ex boyfriend. I got so sad when I first saw that. Now, about the post. In the comments there was this guy, my friends situationship saying some shit like she should’ve been careful who she’s hanging out with and this is what she “got in return”. The fuck?? She deserved to be murdered just because she got together with a psycho without knowing? I met this this guy and he seemed like a normal person, I could never imagine him commenting shit like that.

I got screen shots of the comment and the post, sent it to my friend. She was so surprised and angry at first. Then I asked her if she will confront him about it, she said she will. She never did. And they are still talking normally. She still says that he is a nice guy too. It makes me sick to my stomach.

These people needs to hold accountability. Yet, they never do. I want all men who acts like this to get lonely. But looks like they never will.

Venting Men never bring up misogyny on its own.

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of posts from mostly men from other subs where they bring up that BOTH misogyny and misandry are equally as bad and blah blah blah (you know the drill) but i NEVER see men just talk about misogyny (without mentioning misandry) and how bad it is and encourage other men to do better.

But no, they neveeeer bring it up unless it is to say that both misogyny and misandry are bad and the “gender war” needs to stop. They seriously can’t expect us to believe that they’re coming from a good place where they can’t even acknowledge the difference between the two of them? They genuinely believe that women talking shit about men on the internet = women getting killed on a daily basis by men. I’m so tired of their crap. If they’d only take a walk outside and talk to real women and see what they go through everyday.

evilposting Imagine if we terrorized them back

Imagine if they were too afraid of us to: be out after dark, to open your front door without checking who’s there, to fill their gas tanks at an isolated station alone, to tell someone their real name, to go to a bar alone, to be seated next to a man on a plane, to take a job working with the public, to go to the gym, to sleep at a youth hotel, to use a co-ed restroom, to have a male landlord, to get help from police, to have a male doctor, to have a male tradesperson in your home, to take a sip from a mixed drink, to live alone, to stop at a red light without locking your doors…imagine if they were they ones scared to death. Imagine if they were the ones to stay home, too afraid of more harm coming to them. We could inherit the Earth.

Venting i hate the treatment of men in womens spaces vs women in mens spaces

1.8k Upvotes

every time i look at the top posts in subreddits oriented around predominantly female hobbies, such as makeup, nails, fashion, etc. the top posts of all time always have so many men. even when these men are not particularly skilled, their posts get huge amounts of attention, praise, and upvotes. the posts from extremely skilled women in these subs get nowhere near as much attention as these men.

now, when women post in predominantly male subreddits, what happens? i constantly see women posting feminine or girly gaming setups getting huge amounts of backlash and harassment. i follow this girl on ig that posts tutorials on 3ds console modding, and the majority of her comments are full of men harassing her and saying shes faking her interest in it. men would never welcome us in their spaces the same way that we welcome, praise, and uplift them for doing the bare minimum when participating in ours.

now, im not saying that men cant wear makeup or do their nails or that they shouldnt be allowed to post about it at all. i am frustrated at just how much overwhelming praise and glaze their (often, average or mediocre) posts get from us compared to the actually extremely skilled women in these communities. especially when theyd never be that kind to us if we participated in their spaces.

Oh no! You have to worry about a woman using you for your money when you can easily leave her while we have to worry about whether we’ll be murdered or not while trying to leave an abusive relationship! Our problems are so equal. 🙃

Tantrum Tales Every day almost all day my dad is throwing tantrums and making constant noise

My dad starts the day making noise, usually cursing and complaining. Like the moment he’s awake.

He will walk around slamming things when mad and bitching or yelling loudly. He also constantly narrates his life for some reason. Like describes every little thing. Yes he’s done this for as long as I can remember and yes he is angry every single day multiple times a day.

I’m staying with my family again at 30 due to medical and thus financial difficulties and it sucks being around this. I love my mom but my dad is bad for my mental well being

On top of being disabled I have chronic illnesses which are worsened by emotional distress so this literally affects my health.

I feel like I’m not allowed to ever show my anger because it escalates communication into conflict and it’s exhausting. Last time he heard me sighing at something he flipped out and started screaming in my face about how he knows none of the family likes him. I was sighing about having trouble plugging something into a wall…

Anyone else deal with this specific brand of mental torture? I’ve sadly dealt with this problem with other males in my life as well where if you don’t watch yourself carefully tip-toeing and walking on eggshells they could blow up at any moment. There have been a couple women too that would shift moods at the drop of a hat but the guys without emotional regulation actually scare me.

Reality Check an evil woman is just an average decent man

an average decent man will still make misogynistic jabs and jokes. He will still extract labor from women. He will deceive women in some way to sleep with them. He will not know most things about his kids. A woman who makes misandrist jokes, uses men for her benefit, and neglects her kids is literally the devil to society, to humanity. Humanity is only expected from women. Men are praised just for trying to be human.

Reality Check Have you noticed that men claim they don’t care about a woman’s income and assets until the time comes to share finances?

Men love to virtue signal on the internet that they do not care about a woman’s income and assets. They belittle our careers and accomplishments and taunt successful women by saying that they would rather choose a “hot barista” over a “career woman”. They complain about how women have rigid financial standards and virtue signal that they are good and wholesome because they don’t care about our money.

But then, when they get married, they do not want to share resources or finances. They get extremely protective of “their” money. They accuse women of being gold diggers and using them for money. They believe they are more valuable because they contribute a higher income. And don’t get me started on recreational spending. He can get a fancy video game system or ATV’s because it’s his money. But if you want to get a nice bag or a nice lipstick, he throws a fit that it’s his money.

And then when they get divorced, it’s his money. Even if you’ve been together for years, and contributing to the household with domestic labor and childcare, he believes your contributions were financially worthless. He believes you’re a gold digger who just wants to take “his” money even though he earned it while you were together and building a life together.

Suddenly, the woman’s income matters. She’s a liability. Not an asset. He doesn’t want to provide for her. He views her as lazy and a gold digger.

The reality is that he doesn’t care about her income as long as he doesn’t have to contribute. The cost of living is high and things are expensive. Most women need a decent salary and a career to survive.

Men care about our incomes. They just virtue signal about it. Women are honest. Women understand that marriage means combined assets. We look for someone at our level or higher financially so that if things go south, we aren’t screwed. Men call this “hypergamy”, but it’s just self preservation and protection

Idk if I worded this post correctly.

Reality Check This Pick Me Bitch [Anne Coulter]

https://www.dailymail.com/media/article-16226551/ann-coulter-paris-riots-women-vote.html

tl;dr - Anne Coulter says a woman shopkeeper's reaction to rioters in France is another reason why women in the USA shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Ostensibly because the woman was liberal and she can tell somehow with her Magical Liberal 8 Ball or some shit like that.

Won't this Pick Me Bitch and Cool Girl™ be surprised that if men actually repeal the 19th that she'll be slammed into the Just A Woman bucket with the rest of us "bitches"?

They always think terrible things that they advocate for women will happen to other women, and not them. Cuz, y'know, she's one of the "good ones", amirite amirite?

Meme(s) Well, you know what they say… the bigger the mane, the smaller the dick.

In the wild, lionesses will sometimes gang up on male lions who aren’t part of their pride, and for good reason.

Male lions can pose a serious threat to their cubs. When taking over a pride, some will even kill existing cubs so the females become receptive to mating again.

So when lionesses collectively turn on a male, it’s not just aggression. It’s protection, survival and females looking out for one another.

And just like human males, he probably thinks he’s the king of the world.
